I'm amazed at the quality of gigs some of you guys are playing. I'm what you call a "ham and egger":

Rockabilly trio I used to play in circa 2017-2019. The double bass conveniently hides my fatness. This was back before I learned how to slap. The guitar player taught me how to up my style game and dress more snappily.

My old indie rock band from 2013. I've played in a bunch of groups and usually I'm pretty easy come easy go about things, but this it the one band in my life I regret quitting. We weren't great performers, but it was an excellent hang and a really fun/exciting songwriting situation. Unfortunately the group fell apart due to ego issues (including mine). I wish I had been more mature during those days, the band might still be around. There's also a guitar player, out of frame.

The first band I ever played with that gigged out. We played bar covers, but we were all pretty jazzed to be playing on an actual stage instead of crammed into the corner of some crummy pub, and as you can see we hammed it up appropriately. :) The lighting rig wasn't working properly, which created the dark area at the front of the stage.
