here is one of my acacia fretless basses. other one is a jazz type.

My fretless Veillette Singlecut 5 at Joe's shop. 34" scale done E to C.

Gorgeous maple top, light poplar body, Citron pickups with a peizo bridge. Neck feels like nothing else.

Perfect balance. The care that Joe and Martin Keith put into their instruments is fantastic.

I no longer own it but here's a picture of the modified SX bass that used to be my fretless bass for a while. I refinished it white, installed a tort plate and a beautiful All parts neck with an Ebony board.

Unfortunately, it never sounded the way I would like it to sound. And so I sold it.

...I'm so used to seeing it sitting a few feet away all day, that I sometimes forget just how amazing it really is - and the best part isn't how it looks, it's how it sounds & plays!
