POST YOUR FRETLESS!!!

Here's mine.

Here's mine. It's a '76 fender p that is being restored. The previous owner (original owner) decided he didn't like a cream colored bass, so he spraypainted it! It also appears he got mad at it and stabbed it with a screwdriver a few times! It's safe now in my hands and will not leave!

My try at this:

It's called the Pete for a reason (look at that lower horn!!!). Actually it's named after Armen Blbulian's father I believe. I got it from a very nice guy in CA, although I'm not sure if he's a member on TB.

Specs: Custom Bartolini built under the fretboard near the bridge. I just wish I could make it sound good enough to justify owning it! (Also, not that it means much to others, but it has been touched by Mr. Vic Wooten and Steve Bailey when it was at a Namm show. That just gives me warm fuzzies inside!)

Nice Marleaux/Pagelli, MoonDoggy! They're very rare, particualrly six-strings. It looks like there's a ton of space at either edge of the fingerboard- you could probably have that made into a seven-string easily is you ever wanted to ;)

It's acutally not a Marleaux. The company is called Armen. (Owner's name). I noticed those Pagelli basses after I bought this, and I've always been curious who came up with the design first. I do like how the Marleauxs have the fluted fretboard shape as it ends at the bridge. Also, let me know if you ever want to get rid of that Elrick! You can get lost in that top. I love it!

Ah, you're right- should have read the writing on the bass :D Very similar design- even the lettering is in the same place. Armen made that split fingerboard fretted/fretless 8-string that was at Bass Alone a few years back. Cool stuff.
