POST YOUR FRETLESS!!!

1995 Ibanez SR1305 Paudauk/Mahogany. She is my baby. I made the switch from a fretted 4 to a fretless 5, and I am never looking back. Strung her up with GHS tapewounds and it feels like budda. The bubinga and wenge neck are so smooth, and the thin neck makes me smile everytime I play :D

What make is this bass???

The maker's name is Armen Blbulian. It is number 7 on his website:

http://www.armenguitars.com/

I am not the original owner. I am at most, the 3rd owner. That's as far back as I could track it.

Thanks for the interest.

SWEET! I've never seen an Armen bass in the flesh, but I'd love to throw that guy some business (I'm half Armenian). :bassist:

Got this custom 6-string fretless from Jim Fleeting last saturday. Bit scary going from a 4 string fretted to this but i'm loving it so far!

scary to go from 4 to 6 stings
but equally scary is dropping the thing and your horns both break off .. that would make me paranoid
another reason why I dont own a Pedulla ..well that and its expensive LOL

My first fretless was this Lakland 55-02 that I picked up on eBay

Which I sold to buy this Hanewinckel Arpeggio, also on eBay

Which I sold last year to TBer Jzucker. Then I got the bug and ordered this Roscoe LG-3005

Here's the Roscoe again, all decked out in black :bassist: :bassist:

:smug: The only fretless that I'll ever need (seeing as how I'm rubbish at playing without frets ;) ).

The lines do help me a lot though.

Sounds great, btw!

Oh man, you have the bass I've spent half my life wishing for!
I want one of those since I started listening to Mick Karn.
Treasure it.

Please post a picture with the headstock, a full body pic! (this request made me feel strange :o bassporn!)
