Post your high end and custom passive basses

Seventeen-year-old swamp ash/maple/wenge F-Bass with an oil/wax finish. It has passive single-coils with a dummy pickup in the control cavity to act as a hum-cancelling coil. This bass is super lightweight and surprisingly loud when played acoustically. It'll give any of George's newer bolt-on active Fs a serious run for their money in the growl, punch, and sustain department, though it can't match them for versatility. Controls are the usual V/V/T, and I almost always play it with the bridge pickup soloed and the tone wide open.

I'm digging the Bud LeCompte semihollow! Also digging the AC P's. And the Valenti 51 P. And the Fender CS P. And of course, who can argue with Sheldon Dingwall's fanned fret designs?

I'll PM you all with my address and you can send them to me ;)
