My 2019 Stingray Special 5HH in Vintage Tobacco Burst on the left and my 2007 Stingray 5HH (with the preamp and the ceramic pickups from the Sterling 5) in Honeyburst on the right. Same feel and ergonomics that I love but different enough tonally to be worth having both. They share the #1 spot in my rotation.

View attachment 4915704 View attachment 4915705 I just restrung ‘em both and figured a sibling portrait was in order. The trans red ‘98 Am J Dlxe is my “1 bass to grab if the house catches fire”. It’s now passive, hardwired in parallel with tone at max….single volume knob. 8lbs even. One Eyed Jack. I have the original ‘guard/plate/pre…no irreversible mods.
The P is a ‘22 Am Pro ll……ultralight tuners, routed under the ‘guard for weight loss, 8.4 lbs. Still nameless. Both have cream pearl ‘guards from Pickguardian.

Sorry those aren't twins, they're only half siblings.
