I really love my L-2500, but have sometimes wondered if the slightly more subdued overall tone and the pickup blend rather than the Tri-Tone system might suit me better.
I don’t play in a band, just occasionally at church and at home. I only play the fretless at home because I have poor hearing and don’t trust my intonation. I bought the fretless to try for an upright tone. The fretted bass is my favorite. If I had to do it over again I would have bought a fretted Corta bass instead of the two short bassesI have a Birdsong fretless and have been thinking of getting a fretted twin… do you tend to use one over the other? Would you buy both again if you had your time over?
