Post Your Pedalboard 25: Parcheesi!

hrmph. it would be NICE if somebody made a great tracking TINY, like Malekko Chicklett sized tuner.

does anybody just chuck a tuner into their pedalboard bag/case?

ouch, dont say chicklett... resurgance of repressed gas pains :(

Was using a Boss TU80 that was left behind at my home for a long time (Free!). Kept it in my gig bag attached to a long patch cable. Reminded me when i pull out my bass to tune up before plugging into the signal chain. Also it kept a tuner out of my chain because I dislike muting while tuning. Tune my ears and my instrument!

Here it's mine, now organized:
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Bass -> GFS Tuner -> Boss CE-2B(Made in japan - 1988) -> Alien Space-O-Verb(great brazilian made reverb). Powered with a Visual Sound 1-Spot.

I'm waiting to buy a Zeibek Submarine and a MXR Bass Envelope Filter and it's all I need(and some good cables :smug:)

How do you like the GFS Tuner? Pretty responsive on Bass? It appears to be a bit smaller than the pitch black.

this is my latest version. now i should by a decent camera....

Probably my last PT-JR board post before I move on to Minis. GAS for an MXR BEF and Malekko Chicklet Reverb are getting to me though. I should probably get the lava cables I've been needing since forever first, but I know I'd take a new pedal over low profile jacks any day.

MultiComp > PorkLoin > Blend > Memory Boy

BOD > POG > Mastotron > GR > Musket > CR-7

Blend is used as a TBP loop pedal and no longer as an actual blend. The BOD is only on the board till I find something to fill the empty space it'll leave behind.

here's mine for i THINK the foreseeable future......

........ the thought is that as soon as the VT Deluxe gets here it goes on the top left, the tiny SansAmp and the Pitch Black come off. has anybody used the M9 tuner? i know the display is small, and i'm gonna spend some time comparing it the Pitch Black while they are in the same chain later today..... but wondering if anybody feels they can rely on it? if it turns out to work ok, then that means i don't have to make a choice on what to take off.

i love the Malekko 616, but board space is at a premium. and for what i'm doing right now the M9 delays are enough. i REALLY wanted a looper on there, hence the redo of the board. if i really miss the 616 i might end up taking the OK off. i only use it in one song and might use the PPB instead.

signal chain = PPB -> MXR BOD -> EHX Freeze -> MXR BEF -> Catalina Heliotrope -> DE OK -> Pitch Black -> M9 -> SansAmp

anybody know try powering the M9 off of a y-cable with the BBE Supa Charger or the Voodoo Labs PP2? the power supply that ships with the M9 says 9 volts, and something ridiculous like 1200 or 2000 ma draw. the BBE has 2 outputs that run at 9 volts and 200 ma draw. if i chained those together would that be enough? right now i'm using the original power supply, but would love to have just one power cord for everrrrrrrrrything.

pretty happy with this. does everything i can think of needing in a pretty small space.

woot!

I suspect it wouldn't work... if you chain them together, that'd only be 400ma, not enough to power something that needs as much power as the M9. If the SupaCharger/PP2 work similar to the DC Brick/1-spot, you only have a certain amount of milliamps to divide among your pedals. For example, the 1-Spot has a max current of 1700mA while the 8 pedals currently on my main board total roughly 240mA.

I did find Invalid Link Removed thread over at thegearpage.net, someone said a Godlyke Powerall (which looks suspiciously like a 1-Spot) won't work? Take that for what it's worth.
