Sorry for the bootsy iPhone pic buts its the best i got for now...its beens ages since i've last posted so heres the current board.

However my question is how does the Supercollider compare against the Team awesome fuzz and the Oxide fuzz...Does anyone have experience with the 3 pedals?

I haven't played the Supercollider but I have the other two. I do have a decent idea of what a SC gets you though. The Supercollider is nothing like the Oxide. It would have more in common with the Team Awesome, but they are still two very different fuzzes. The Team Awesome is a Germanium fuzz and doesn't get as harsh sounding as muff bass ones like the SC can.

First of all, VERY jealous of the Supercollider mini!!
But anyway, the Supercollider is the BEST muff clone I have encountered thus far, it gets super doomy, and with the depth and mids knobs almost dimed, I love it! Such clear cutting articulation that I use in anything from metal breakdowns to western breakdowns.
The TAFM, however is a whole new beast that I expected to rather enjoy, but not this much!! Without the clean blend, it gets very dark and deep, or high and cutting (with a mids switch too, that I honestly change a lot). But WITH the clean blend (which you can toggle between having it clean, or being an overdriven sound, increasing the overdrive with the IN pot), it's the kind of fuzz that doesn't need a partner (I liked having a higher, more bitey fuzz following the Supercollider, so that when they're both on, ultra domination).

In short,
SC = mega Muff (though I'm curious about the Gnomertron VTF..), but in my mind, more of a one-trick pony (a VERY GOOD trick)
TAFM = big germanium fuzz chock FULL of classic fuzz tones that bassists and guitarists alike will love for its versatility and sweet sweet tone. SS/BS is a budding builder who I think has a bright future in this business

thanks for clearing that up for me Eric!.... My one and only problem with the supercollider is noise it adds when im not playing (does anyone else have this problem?). I figure its from the extreme amount of gain that the SC adds when turned on and creates a loud hum however while playing it sounds absolutely great and although i can turn down the gain and volume to compensate for the loud hum while not playing it also kinda defeats the whole purpose of a fuzz pedal. So im hoping with the Oxide fuzz or TAFM i'll get the same amount of badass fuzz but minus the hum while not playing.

Seems like i might have to just buy an oxide and do my own shootout between the oxide and supercollider......unless another TB'er has already done this.

You mean when it's on? I get it sometimes..depends where I stand and a couple other things. It's a Muff though, to be expected.

The TAFM has SO much punch, you'll probably never have either of the volumes past noon, so that helps, it's not very noisy to my ears.

The Oxide and SC won't be alike. The Oxide covers more of the popular synthy pedals (Mammoth, Assmaster), where the SC is...a Muff. Totally different beasts. But a shootout as to your applications of it, wouldn't be the worst idea ever
