So far the covers on the DB112's are holding up very well.
if anything the bottom cabinet got a bit darker but I've been able to keep them failry unbruised by I do use covers every step of the way.
I have the AG500 with distorion which is good but you have to do a good deal of volume comparison between the normal channel and the distortion. To me the distorion side sounds like a big quilt is placed over the speakers until you crank it up much more than the other channel. My 2 cents but that's how I feel. If I had it to do over I would be happy with the AG500SC.
As for the ToneHammer - the AG circuit again provides a nice distorion but it seem to be really connected to the tonal settings for when I am using it clean. I can't maneuver the distortion around as much. by adding the AGRO pedal I can use just the Tonehammer AG circuit (which to me is very nice, warm and subtle) and then open it up for an even more intense effect by building off of what the tonehammer is doing when kicking in the AGRO. Oh .... the distorion side of the amp had a separate pedal to run and in general for what I was getting ... was just a bit messy. By having everything in a separate case I can also use them on whatever amp I find myself using for times when a rig is provided.
It's a pretty darn nice effect and what I've found is the loss of tonal distinction when using a distorion goes away when combining it with my tonehammer AG circuit.
The multi-twin is verrrrry nice! To be honest ... I don't favor both filters at the same time. in my opinion one seems to cancel the other out but I very much like the up side filter. i can get a real nice Larry Graham sound (thank you for lettin me be myself) sound. Thsi pedal seems to sort of be a specialty thing and doesn't fit as much as the other sounds do. But I very much like it way better than the EBS pedal I had.
Anyway ... that's my opinion. And .... yeah! i guess I'm pretty manufacutre specific on this but everything I've bought from Aguilar has been huge in what I've gotten out of it. I used to use all Eden from back when they first came out until about a year ago .... they were nice but this definatley an upswing for my sound.

My bass is a USA Lakland Bob Glaub with P/J's so it's passive. My findings are built off of a passive bass so I couldn't say how an active bass would respond.

. It's a silicon fuzz with lots of options. There's still quite a few changes I want to make but it's coming along nicely
