Geez, almost makes the lack of LEDs on my DEM that much more appealing.
I don't own one but I know what you mean. That Fab chorus had a crazy bright LED, and my old Rocktron X-tune did too.
Reminds me of the LED on my Goat. Friggin bright.
I can imagine me standing on a dark stage just before the guitarist rips out another
solo, and I turn it on! OMG!!!!!! The brightness blinds me, and I stop playing to cover my eyes. The low end drops out and the guitarist suddenly feels musically naked. The crowd riots and tramples all the migets in the back row in their urge to run. Meanwhile aliens fly into the hyper beam of blindness and have to make a crash landing right into the drummer. The guitarists head explodes due to the pressure buildup of not getting the solo out of there. I stumble out into the street only to be kidnapped by worried female fans, and taken to a giant orgy where I miraculusly regain my sight.
The next day I gather up my gear and go looking for a new bunch of suckers, I mean a new band....

Both the MXR El Grande and MXR Carbon Copy have a pair of bright blue LEDs... as if one simply wasn't awesome enough!
Soon musicians will have to wear protective sunglasses with their protective earplugs, lest we all lose our senses by the time we're Bongo's age. (Zing!)
Yeah, the power indicator on my Kustom Groove 1200 is so bright that I had to cover it up with a piece of tape at church because it was a distraction.

My Blowtorch has one, too. I wish they would've added a second blue LED for the Torch switch.

the delay is not mine, so I need to buy one. I'm getting a Zoom 5050 which has a simple delay on it, hopefully it will do. Otherwise, a Digidelay probably...

Im assuming that the silver, unmarked box is a looper for the G5 to turn in "on" and "off".

true, I just don't like the G5's bypass... It's OK to be used in the middle of the song, but normally I often dig in too much for the Korg's preamp. I really don't want to damage it
(though, I could probably sell (on eBay) a damaged one for at least 100 USD or EUR, I've seen a broken Deep Impact went for 100£! I guess one can sell hopes and dreams...)
Actually, you couldn't break the G5's preamp that way. If that were the case, you couldn't put a distortion pedal in front of ANYTHING - pedal, amp, etc.!
I'm not really good with the technical issues, but I just don't want to gamble too much with a pedal that is that rare (and is worth so much money). I'm sure it was designed to take occasional peaks just fine, but I even want to avoid those whenever I can...
