It's gotten slightly different since then...still 3 tiers, but now I'm going to break it down into sections as well. Left & Right sections are going to be 19X19 and the middle section is going to be 12X19. Most of it's been cut, I just have to finish the cutting on Monday, then I'll have to cover it(most likely spray/roll on bed liner). Each of the tiers is going to have 2 inch spaces underneath it every 2 or 3 inches for cable routing, and it's going to include 30-31 pedals, and a power strip that will power all of them plus an extra space for my amp's power cord. In progress pics will be up hopefully Monday or Tuesday

Interesting.....My 32x20 four tiered board will house roughly thirty pedals too, including a 105Q and two EB volume pedals. It'll have two Voodoo Labs power supplies and a few extra outlets mounted under the tiers and all the cabling will be hidden underneath like yours.

Yeah, I did the math using the old dimensions, and it would have probably weighed about 42 lbs without the pedals on there. That's what made me decide to cut it into sections. The 2 big sections are going to weigh about 20 lbs each w/o pedals, and the middle section is going to weigh about 16. I figured that three trips in & out of the building was much better than 1 trip carrying 80 lbs worth of gear.

Which is exactly why I went slatted this time. More than sturdy enough and the whole thing will weigh less than ten pounds without pedals. The base is 5 pounds, 3 ounces with the aluminum binding and the wood and binding for the tiers weighs 3 pounds, 4 ounces.

sadly, I don't think that slatted would work too well for me with the Dano minis that are gonna be on it. Plus, the plywood I'm using is just a half sheet that I had left over from a home improvement project about a year ago, so current cost for this board is about $21 for liquid nails, sandpaper, and some more clamps. Then again, If I ever decide to build one that will just be 1 big board, I might be able to figure out a way to do it with slats sideways, but that probably won't be for another 6 or 7 years.

I updated the pedal dimensions on the Wiki to include all of the dano pedals that I own. Once I get a Shift Daddy, a Trip-L-Wah, a Spring King, and a Reel Echo, I'll post the dimensions of those too.

How far apart are you spacing the slats? Knowing me, I'd probably end up trying to space them too far apart, and then have one of my pedals fall halfway through the board when I step on it at a show. A friend of mine(guitarist) had his pedals velcroed to a single sheet of plywood. He stepped onto his delay a little sideways(all the way to the left of the plywood), and the velcro tore itself loose and pulled the cable out of the pedal.

We should probably start a new thread about this one...we've been derailing this thread long enough.

It is an aquired taste, and it does cut out the bottom, due to it sequencing through the filters, but when you slap and pop with it, you can get some really cool Bootsy/Mutron filter effects, but with a randomization that makes it even more fun and funky! :D It also makes a cool sample and hold effect that sounds cool with my Maxon 900ms Analog Delay or my Line 6 Echo Park delay (set to analog Sweep mode), but with an envelope filter twist! Very spacey...

And I'm sure that I have not even begun to explore all the possibilities this little box can produce. Thankfully it has a long pedalboard life, because it wasn't cheep! :eek:

Here is my little bundle of joy. The space in the lower left of the mixers board is for a Bass Metaphors and then whatever else reaches for my money. I have it split up into two boards so that it all fits neatly into a suitcase. I have never cared about the possibility of getting some George Ls until this started to get all filled up. It's getting ugly:(.
