Big changes since my last post. Added the Barber, Carbon Copy, Jacques chorus and the Pedal Power.

Cool board, Andy. Do you incorporate this into your jazz gigs as well?

I'd like to get a reverb pedal and a looping pedal as well at some point....and I'd love to track down a Foxrox Octron 2.

There are a few pedals that I bought a while back and have held onto throughout all my crazy effects sell-offs.

One is this gem:

It's an analog spring reverb made by Van Amps. It's bulkier than a standard Boss reverb, and more money than I like spending on 'spices,' but I've found it wonderful for soloing. Of course, it all depends on the room, but in a really dry room, or a cocktail gig, it really shines. It would be cool to pick up an all-tube outboard reverb 'some day,' but I'm happy with the Sole Mate for now.

I use it for the more "modern jazz" gigs.....more straight than straight ahead. I imagine in the future using something a bit different for jazz gigs, like my Empress Delay, a reverb, and a looper. You never know though, I could use the whole lot or nothing at all in the end. I'm starting to experiment.

hey there, will get some sound clips up as soon as i can, the silver box is a hog + LPB clone pedal made for me by a friend and the big dots thing is a tuner, although that got lost at a gig on saturday..

XO synth is pretty much the same as my old micro synth as far as i can tell, has all the same functions and i dialled in my frequently used sounds straight away with the same slider settings as on the same unit...

My MXR El Grande Bass Fuzz just arrived today and it sounds incredible with the other effects on my PedalLID pedalboard - playing especially nice with my Dunlop Bass Wah. And not only do the blue LEDs alert passing UFOs, but if one of those UFOs knocks the power out, the knob pointers and Deep button actually glow in the dark! :D

I still love my MESSDrive and discovered it works really good in Mild mode, along with the Blend mod I added, to warm up my Genz-Benz Shuttle 1x10 combo! So now I have a two pedal "MicroBoard" (a small sheet of diamod plate and velcro left over from my PedalLID project) that gives me anything from tubey warmth, to fuzzy rage, and some sweet Q-Tron funk! I also modded my Q-Tron so that the LED works with the true bypass on/off stomp awitch, plus I added a volume knob to balance out the on/off levels, and finally, I added an "Insta-Switch", a momentary switch that acts like a stutter switch - the effect only activates as long as my foot is on the switch and then instantly deactivates when my foot is off. I love being able to just add a quick bit of filter funk during phrases without having to stomp the on/off switch over and over...
