:bassist: when will we see your board bongomania???
Here's my boardfrom back in January. I change it all the time, though, and I've made some big changes just in the last month. The only pedals from that board that I still use on a regular basis are the Aramat tremolo and the tube compressor. Even the tube comp, as awesome as it is, may get replaced this week because it sounds muddy in combination with my recently-acquired SVPCL preamp. So I have a couple of different solid state comps on order to try out. I'll take some new pics later in the week. :D  :bassist:

I just clicked on "Here's my board" and started looping through the thread for about 3-4 minutes until I realized what I did. Duh.:rollno:

the EHX synth is a great unit IMO, although it's not a plug and play pedal. But if you have enough time to fiddle around with it you will be suprised how many useful sounds you can get. One of my favourite things is to make volume swells and add some delay from Echo Park. This makes some huge atmospheric synth sounds.
Another great thing I have found out is to use it as an octave up (or down :smug: ) fuzz!
If you get one, be prepared not to turn the sliders in the Voice section all the way up, even if the manual says so. This will make it almost 2 times louder than your clean signal, because there is no overall volume!

hmm, yeah. I picked the Echo park because of the tons of features and I don't reget buying it. For sure, there are other delays that can loop a lot longer (this one, does circa 2,5 seconds or so) but that isn't what I need. One of my favourite things on the Echo Park is the Mod knob, which adds modulation to the repeats. In Analog mode it's Vibratio, in Digital mode: Chorus and in in Tape mod the repeats have a change in pitch. Sounds a lot like Pink Floyd.
Haven't worked much with the Reverse and Ping Pong but sounds interesting...
I have compared it with the Boss DD6 and this is the one I liked better, mainly because of the featurs.
The only bad point is, that you need the original Line 6 power supply, otherwise it will make some noise, which is especially recognizeable when using distorion!

Ok.. I hope this helped a bit,
I will look if I can record some clips of the EHX BMS!

greets!

here are 2 samples of the EHX BMS (also including the Echo Park)
I wanted to record more, but I have problems with my recording programme..sorry

A while ago I have posted some samples of the Tube Zipper into the Sound Sample thread, but they are not the best.
Probably I will record some new ones and write a review later this day.. It's a very unique Envelope Filter, not really something you could use for funky stuff or so, because it distorts very easily and is totally over the top, but great, for extreme envelope sounds and noise...
:)

Hello!
hehe, it actually sounds better than I expected. Got it off ebay for not too much, and so far I am happy with it. Maybe useful in some of my band's weird intro parts or so...
It's basically a distortion (I did not expect it to sound as good as it does on bass! No big low end loss) with a Ring Modlation knob. You can mix the two what gives some nice unique effects or just use them alone. You can't tune the Ring Modulator, that's the only bad thing, but since I don't know nothin about Ring Modulators that's ok.. For me it's just an intersting weapon for atonal absctract tones. :smug:

excuse my 3rd reply, hehe :smug:
..but I've added a Digitech Turbo flanger and finally have all of them on a crappy homemade board.. the Boss Limiter will be replaced by an Aphex Punch Factory soon.. then I have all I need for a while..
damn.. and there will be not too much free space on my board after this.. :crying:
