My bass/guitar rig. I really only use the Jeckyll & Hyde and tuner for bass, but hey, the more pedals the better right?

Really sick & twisted distortion. On guitars, it is (IMO) the ultimate metal sound. Think of it as a Marshall Guv'nator.

From my bass into the Fulltone Bassdrive, Boss Hyper Metal, Chorus I, Chorus II, Compression Sustainer, Morley Bass Wah to my amp. Powered by the Dunlop DC-Brick.
I am waiting for my George L cable kit to arrive before final assembly. I'm just using a board I made years ago that has some extra room now that I ditched the power strip so I can add more pedals later on.
The Fulltone gives me a great basic tone and I use the Hyper Metal when I need pure filth. The 1st chrous is very subtle and I use it just to round out my sound a little. The 2nd chorus has a more traditional chorus vibe and since the 1st one is so subtle I can just kick in the 2nd when I want a more obvious effect. I dislike the compression sustainer but it is good for levelling off my signal when I'm running a dirty tone with the wah for some screechy/wailing effects (Anesthesia for instance).

Well, like I said, the first chorus is pretty subtle (even fully cranked) so I leave it on to just thicken up my tone a little. The second chorus I kick on when I want an obvious chorus effect. It just saves me from tinkering with settings between songs. I scored the 2nd one for cheap so I had to find a use for it.....and I've grown to like the setup.

This set up works well for what I do and covers my needs for all of our songs.
I think my motivation to buy the FUZZ effects was to achieve the "Exit Music" fuzz tone +10....believe me when I say my fuzz tone is a beautifully scary beast that gets your attention.
The Chorus Phaser and Flange allow me to get some mild modulation to full blown triped out jungle tones.
I'm a big fan of MUSE and The Mars Volta, so I quickly experimented with the Bass synth. It took a long time, but I found my own sound and musical uses for this pedal.
After the honeymoon ended...I finally cooled off and found some tasteful uses within our songs, for all these pedals.
That's really the idea anyway...to play what's right for the song.

Hm... To be honest, I really don't like your setup, Johans.
First, I don't see the point of a reverb for the bass. And if there is a point, the delay can do it, a little.
Secondly, I tested the PH-3 phaser, and it didn't impressed me much. Too much fun, not really useful sound, I found. Compared to the sound of a MXR Phase 90...
The rest... well, there is a lot of better choruses and distortion, for bass...
The question is, did you try all this (as you're waiting for it...) ? If not, I suggest you to do so !
Of course, all this is my humble opinion concerning thoses pedals. It would be a great-looking pedalboard at least !

Hey Tecx. I just wanted to tell you that I really liked your setup. You seem to have a real grasp on effects and I'm glad to see you trying effects not used for bass. Cool setup dude!

IMO, the PH-3 smokes the Phase 90 anyday. Clean circuitry,versatile and great tone. I owned a Phase 90 for a while but it doesn't even come close to the PH-3. Nice set-up, BTW.
