Right Now (all FX are boss):
Bass > TU-2 > PW-10 > MD-2 > RV-5 > Amp
I use my PW-10 as a tone controll and I only use my MD-2 and RV-5 when playing with a pick

The setup I want:
Bass > TU-2 > FV-500H > PW-10 > SYB-5 w/ an EV-5 > NS-2 (Send > MD-2 > CS-3 (might place before MD) > Return) > RV-5 > Amp

the room, hall, and spring modes give 3 nice smooth verb sounds. the plate mode is a little metallic sounding but still nice.
if you get one try (slowish, light) tapping with the gate mode. it gives a metallic, synyth type sound with the "effect level" and "time" knobs set to max, and the tone set to middle.
and if you don't have a chorus, the modulate mode is great as well.

took out the SYB cause i've yet to read alot of good posts about it. not sure about needing the NS or using the CS so I'll probably add them last.
added the OD for more variety in distortion and added the EQ for more versitility than 3-band amp eq.

I don't have a pic yet, but it goes like this:
Bass -> WAH -> Sansamp \/\ MDI-2 (looper?)-> ODB-3 -> Bass Chorus -> Bass Pod XT Live ->Rack Compressor -> Rack BBE -> Rack QSC RMX.
I'm still not 100% quite sure what a Looper is, but basically I built a pedal switch that toggles between two channels which allows me to choose one pedal path vs the other (or any other pedals in the chain). Currently it goes between the Sansamp (creamy tube setting, not really distorted) and the MDI (slightly dirty, a bit more aggressive). Speaking of the Arion, I love that pedal. It's plastic, $20 brand new, but it just sounds amazing. Far more useful as a tone shaper than the ODB-3 (I use that just to kick in some serious dirt).
The POD is my preamp and I generally use it for Amp modeling/eq/comp (and tuner) only - no FX (unless it's maybe a synth or something). The rack compressor I use for mucho gain and limiting. I'm pleased with the setup.

What you built is a line selector, which is pretty cool. But it's basically an A/B box.
"Looper" is confusing. A looper is either a) A digital recorder pedal that can record a passage then be played (looped) over and over with you playing over the top of the pre-recorded passage. When people say 'looper', 9 times out of 10, they're referring to this. OR b) a "LOOOPER" is a brand name of a type of true bypass effects loop switcher. You use this type of box when you have noisy non true bypass effects on your pedalboard and you want to take them out of your signal path in true bypass.

I had nothing to do this evening, did my virtual pedalboard. It should be mine in no long time.
I'm waiting for the SMX and the Phase 90 to be delivered. The DD-5 is a project, I'll buy it as soon as possible, and the chorus as soon as I manage to sell my current chorus (TC Electronic).
I'm still hesitating on the delay... DD-5 or Echo Park ? I like the simplicity of the Boss, but the Echo park has a built-in tap tempo. I would add the tap tempo to the looper/stutter, in case I chosse the DD-5, but...
I may add a looper, including comp/synth/drive/EQ, beacause it's basically all that make my disto sounds. I may run some pedals in parallel, especially the synth and the distorsion.
