Post Your Pedalboard - Part I

The EVH reminds me of the 80s.

I like all the phaser models in my MM4. It has the EVH MXR phaser (and a dual and a panned model) but with a twist, I can add more stages and I can adjust the depth. I can also adjust the speed via expression pedal.

Hi guys!

I've been reading this post on and off for months, and now I've finally got something to post on here :hyper:

I've got two loops, the first one to the tuner then the Aphex, and then out to my amp. I then bring the FX send back from my amp into the second loop through the EQ and the Chorus and then back out to the amp.

The power bank 9v supply is under the 'shelf' and connected to an IEC main socket on the side.
The whole thing drops into it's 'flight case' so setup should be so much quicker now....

I've left a bit of room around the tuner - it needs replacing and I'm tempted to get a Korg one. There's space left on the top for one more - not sure - maybe a flanger, or possibly a BDI??

I know it's small by most standards on this post, but I'm pleased with it :D

Cheers,

PaulF

This is the future board (thanks to Petary for the pic). In a few months (and with some help from Santy Claus) it should be all mine. Anything you think I should add? Suggestions?

Graeme

Graeme:

I'm selling my 105Q...if you're interested, click on my signature thread. The only other things I'd consider adding to your rig would be a Boss ODB-3, an EH Bassballs, and a well used Danelectro DanEcho...I know just where you can get all of these gems.

Three Wahs? You rule man. The Wah S-Wah-Mi :bassist:

Socksky, Sutton and Syciprider = The Digitech Club.

My unfinished line up. Still waiting for Boggs to finish that loooper, a T21 GT2 and a Frantone fuzz from DMW. :bassist:

The Behringer footswitch will go away soon. I'm bringing the little amp to my office so I can practice there too. :bassist:

Update for mine!

Going to get another Loooper, as with this many pedals in the signal chain, when used, the signal dropout is pretty significant, even with the pedal engaged!!

how do you like the boss dd-3,

is it usefull if you play stuff like audioslave, ratm, rhcp, soundgarden, and foo fighters.

does anyone have any sound clips of it on bass.

i'm not aware of tim commerford, flea, (blanking on soundgarden's bass player), or nate using a delay in anything. :hmm:

i have one. sorry, but recording and all that stuff is beyond my capabilities.

for the sort of stuff that i do with my dd-3, listen to bauhaus' "bela lugosi is dead."

He has used one a couple of times, most noticeably on the Song No Shelter, where the whole verse is created by delay, and he used one on Ashes in the Fall for a bit of Echo at the end I think. That's all I know of...But I'm pretty sure Flea hasn't used one either.

^^thanks for your help guys,
i already knew timmy c used it in no shelter, it sounds really cool in that.

are there any other bands or bassists i should listen to, to hear delay on bass, or any songs.

Juan Alderete on The Mar's Volta's sophomore release, Frances The Mute. Listen to his crazy ass fretless solo in Cassandra Gemini. Definitely something that shapes the way I want to sound and play. Its just completely ferocious.
