Re: the Jet phase, it doesn't suck tone when switched off. However all but one of the phaser settings DO cut the low end and drastically alter the tone. That one good bass setting, though, watch out. It booms and roars and scares children.
Re: the George L plugs, I love 'em. I've been using them for years and they always make me happy. I use mostly the non-chrome-plated plugs, and Canari or Belden coax cable. The one thing is if you monkey with them plugging and unplugging a lot, the screw-connector part can tighten or loosen which sometimes is no big deal (retighten) but sometimes causes a connection fault which means snipping the ends of the cables and reattaching the plugs.
Re: Pedaltrain Jr., maybe I should divide the fx into "essential" and "nonessential" and put them on separate boards. That way I can bring the "nonessentials" only where I have the luxury of spreading out. And where the soundman won't hate me.
