How'd you guess? . Because the settings on the amp are flat, I'm thinking of getting a SansAmp again Specifially the BDDI to make my solid state sound more tubey, and as a makeshift recording tool

Until I get more money, this'll keep me happy

After the SA, I'm probably going to sink my money into a "rap" style board. Decided on the Aphex Bass Exciter -> Dunlop Bass Octave as a start

You could route cables under that foam and use that case set out like that, just an idea

Nice to see you already got the hematoma. (from your other thread post) Had a chance to play around with it? is it a keeper for you? What order does it come in the signal chain?

Showed up yesterday, and unfortunately I'm having some amp difficulties right now (Blown tweeter? Bad tube? I just don't know yet. ), but I got to play with it for a few minutes. I like it! Definitely retains the low end and gives it a nice warm tone. I'll post a better write-up in the megathread when I get a chance to play with it more. Oh, it's serial #7 by the way, I feel like I'm joining the club on the ground level!

Oh and I don't have these pedals in an order yet, still experimenting with that. Except fuzz goes before chorus, as mentioned above.

Cool, lucky number 7. sucks about the amp difficulties. I run my fuzz first, then into overdrives/distortions, then chorus. Seems to sound the best this way. have fun with it.

I currently own 2 pedals, and I think I'll never own over 5... what's the best thing to do when it comes to power supply? Stick with battery's? Is there such a thing as a 'multi adapter'? Or are there pedalboards with power supply, with a case and a good protection for your pedals on the road even?

Finally took a pic of my board.
I modified my Pedalpad slightly as you can see, I added a handle on one side and casters on the opposite side. Pick it up and roll it along, works like a charm.

I'm using the power supply that came with the pedalpad (under the korg tuner) and I also have a voodoo lab pedal power2 mounted below on the left side of the board.

Order: Bass-->loooper-->amp. The first loop has everything on the board except the MXR m80.

Signal order out of the first loop is -->EBS-->Depth Charge
-->Prunes+Custard
-->Emma-->Bassdrive-->HBE Hematoma-->HBE Big D-->HBE Psilocybe-->Choralflange-->Delay

Loop 2 is just the MXR DI

Tuner out of the loooper goes to the Korg tuner.

I also mounted a rack light at the top of the board for sh**ts and giggles. The second pic kind of shows the different colors in the dark. oooohh. "lions and tigers and bears oh my"

What do you think of the HBE Hematoma I keep reading more and more about them

I like the rack light I might get one myself and mount it behind the grill of my my free rack space

I've never seen a blue depth charge before either. That's why I picked that color out of the batch at pedalgeek's store. Jack at prescription electronics is known for changing colors all the time. makes them more collectible.

I love the hematoma. I loved the Big D pedal so much, I was giving my suggestions to Joel at HBE as what would be perfect in a bass overdrive. Then he arranged so I could buy the first hematoma about a week before he shipped any others.
It's giving my bassdrive a serious run for the money.

Some nice pedals there man, I'm going to look into a Prunes and Custard, Depth Charge, and DiscumBOBulator eventually. Well, I already researched the BOB but went with the Moogerfooger instead. Thinking about picking one up for the convenience aspect though. Does it retain the lowend? I've received mixed opinions on that.

The Emma is great, you just have to get a recently manufactured one. The older ones were getting all the complaints about losing the low end. I personally love the sound of it. It still sounds like a bass, not too "filtery" and sqelchy. just my opinion.
And those clips of the hematoma sound great too. I'm just so used to hearing mine the last few weeks cranked up with my band, I was very curious how it translated to a recording.

I'm looking to do this too as my board is pretty big...Where did you find the wheels and handle? They seem to be exactly what I'm looking for.

As for the handles....good old magic word.....EBAY. Just do a search for "trunk handles", "case handles", etc.

The casters came from Home Depot. Best place in the world for pedalboard supplies. In the rare case I couldn't find something at home depot.....see previous magic word answer

Well after a long time just reading this topic I've finally got something to contribute. This is my first attempt at a small board for my effects. It aint finished yet, just gotta cover the board in something felcro will stick to... and get some velcro lol.

Still I was inpressed it managed to build the board to fit perfectly in the box

Right I don't actually have a use for the PD7 anymore, it was the first pedal I bought bout a year and half ago and I've grown since then, and I'm in a much better band that just doesnt call for it.

The Small Clone came today and I bloody love it! My first intention was to use it for a deeper chorus sound and my boss as a more sutle one. But after experimenting with it a while I just cant make the boss sound good on a low setting, and in comparsson, well it doesnt compare lol so I think that one might have been well and truely replaced unless someones got any sugestions for settings?

Gear on the way:
A God lyke power all (waiting for stock to come in)
A Snarling Dogs Eronious Moan (which I was gona use as a volume pedal but I think it any gona come so Im gona have to get paypal involved again )

Then all I need is a one looper with a tunner mute and for now I'd done... till I get a better amp that is...

Excane, that board is SWEET! I realize it is probably overkill for many players, but I totally dig having a nice spread of effects. Good job on the layout/organization of the board, too.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Only started it about 7 months ago. Before that my old pedalboard was in use for about 7 years. I realized I needed a change. The layout and order of the effects was the most time consuming, I tried almost every combination. I guess if you want something done right, take your time. "you can't rush art"

I can't comment on the Moogerfooger, but the DiscumBOBulator is great! There is no low end loss with mine. I even asked other guys in the band to listen for that while I kicked it on and off playing the same line. They love it too.

Sure,
There's nothing too exciting, but I like 'em. Here's the chain:

bass ->
loooper (always connected side) -> Aphex Punch Factory -> EHX English Muff'n -> EB Jr. Vol. Pedal
loooper (blendable switch loop) -> Boss TU-2 -> DOD250 -> EHX Holy Grail -> EHX Bassballs -> Boss EQ3B
-> Mesa Walkabout Scout

The power supply is just a box from Radio Shack with a One Spot adaptor and the English Muff'n power adaptor inside of it.

Pretty simple, but it works for me. I use the Comp, the Muff'n and the Volume mostly, so the others are loooped out to avoid signal degredation and so that I can blend the DOD 250 dist with clean signal to fatten up the low end.

For the board a buddy and I dorked out in his woodshop for a few hours and built the board and a matching top that forms a briefase. Now if I can just get around to painting it.
