Nice setup. Just wondering about the fulltone and emma, do you use them together and if so how does it sound with the fulltone in front of the filter? Do you find you need to turn the sensitivity down? Did you like the fulldrive better than the bassdrive?

The Fulldrive is a carry-over from playing guitar. It sounds okay, but I hear the Bassdrive handles the lows better. Usually I use a 100% drive setting on my SA that gives me a thick, warm Tim C. overdrive tone. I will sometimes kick on the Fulldrive in addition to the SA overdrive for a really creamy hyper-driven tone, but I usually don't use it alone.

I haven't had a lot of use for the Emma Disco-bob with the band I'm currently in, but fool around with it in practice sometimes. Unfortunately, I can't answer your question specifically.

Very nice setup you have. Few questions for you....do you use both compressors simultaneously? or switch between them for different songs/sounds? same thing with the DOD and AF9, do you ever use them both together or switch?

Ashdown compressor, Ashdown drive plus, ashdown chorus, ashdown compressor. I might try the ashdown ABM preamp for some valve overdrive.... yummy

I would only use two comps or two filters together for experimentation/amusement at home. Each of those provides a different sound, and I use them separately.

but i dont think i am 't3h Ashd0wn wh0r3" till i get my dream set up of an ashdown ABM pre for highs, another for lows, an ashdown ABM power amp for each and two ABM 2x10"s for highs and two ABM 1x15"s for the lows.... and a spare set just in case......













and a spare for the spare.

about time i started posting some pics. These are the developments of my masterplan so far...

Jekyll&Hyde > Big Muff > Weeping Demon > Small Clone > BF-2

To come is a looper to place the big muff with a bassballs (coming on friday) for some bizarre synthish fuzz... A PE Depth Charge if i can get a hold of one for straight out fuzz, and either a phase90 or small stone... And possibly a digitech synth... powered by a Dunlop brick :hyper:

Well different band needs so different board. My old boards did far more and were much more fun to play with, but in my current band I wouldn't use half of it so I sold alot off and minimised, so now I have one fun solo board and one band board.

I still have 2 one of which is loaded with delays and such and thats for solo work, but it's not changed since the last picture.

The signal chain of this goes

Loooper A/B Box
Path A - Boss Tu-2 Tuner
Path B - Barber LTD (always on) - SIB Nick Nitro Fuzz - Digitech BSW - Analogman Chorus Clone - EBS Multi Comp (always on) - Tonefactor Hellbaby - MXR M-80 Bass DI (always on)

I notice no tone loss at all and it sounds great. I have got a Pedalworx McSqueeze coming soon which will be swapable with the Tonefactor Hellbaby depending on what sort of boost I want.

I managed to combine my two boards into one :smug:
I bassicly spent every waking minute for the last two days getting it to work. Now I get a pretty nice IMO clean sound and a sweet "Cliff Burton" (RIP) fuzz tone. With Wah :hyper:
