Figured I might as well post an update on my rig and include sound samples as well.
I decided to hook up the English Muff'n though the BDDI, but this time with blend on full. All I can say is

It Works out better than I hoped, (and again,) the EHX is my fuzz of choice. The direct sound is great (even w/o the added tubyness) and the PDDI adds a kind-of "darkness" to the EM's natural bright sound. I even had to turn the bass on the EM
down otherwise it sounded boomy.
All in all, I'd describe the sound as somewhere between screaming fuzz and OD grit.
Anyway, here is a pic (you can see the settings):
and here are the samples:

For now, I've set aside the wah and the noise suppressor. I found I don't use the wah as much as I feel would be necessary to permanately include it in my playing. Even with the PDDI nicely thickening up my tone it still sounds like there's something "missing". I do admit that's probably cus of the way I want to use it (on all the time/used "like a switchless"). If I could find a switchless wah that 1) has
no delay when switching off, and 2) I could rest my foot on
w/o turning it on, then I'd grab it right now.
Sadly the Weeping Demon's switchless mode had the 1st but not the 2nd

, so when the side mounted footswitch busted I returned it.
The other reason that I don't include the wah on the board is that it creates
so much noise! It's the only reason I even need the NS-2! This is also why the NS is not on the board as well. Alone (because it's set clean) the PDDI is silent as a ghost, and so is the EM when played
through the PDDI. In the other samples I posted, when the
mid and
high's are cranked the noise is quite noticable, but with the PDDI's cutting of everything above approx. 6KHz noise doesn't even enter the eqation

! It also helps that I've got the tone control on the bass completely
off.
Anyway, just thought I'd show myself again as a "post you pedalboard hoe", and give an update+samples. Hope you guys approve
Oh, and the TU-2 (tuner) is out of the chain cus I wanted to use the parallel out on the DI. It was feeling left out
