ive got one on the american big muff and one for the discumbobulator but im gonna get a diago power supply and some daisy chains soon
Why two Muffs?
Is there a difference in tone between the Russian and American made Muffs? Or, is it just a matter of build quality?

i cat say for sure, as i havnt played both together. But the Russian is a bit more dirty/raunchy while the american is smoother. If you're into muse, that distortion in Time Is Running Out is meant to be 2 big muffs being used.
I wonder if there's a fuzz box out there that can give you that Time Is Running Out sound without playing through two big muffs. That would be sweet.
Time Is Running Out was played on a keyboard/synth unit with a clean bass line over the top. I could get a very close sound with my Ibanez SB-7 with a little bit of OD after it. But would prefer a Deep Impact for the Muse stuff

How sure are you on that Higgie? I've heard his distortion comes from him running 3 115 cabs. One clean, big muff into another, and then another big muff into the second. Or theyre 'cascaded'. But it does sound like theres some slight synth. Its so damn smooth. I love that tone.

I read the same things. And since Wolstenholme doesn't have two muffs on his board it'd be pretty hard to cascade them now, wouldn't it?

Heres my updated board, the first completed board I've made (and me being 16, and judging by the other guys on this forum, it definatly aint gona be the last, and for that matter ever really "complete"!).
I just wanted to get my pedals to fit in a case, to be easy to setup, easy to power (I've got a Godlkye) and easy to tune live. I reckon this acheives it. My only problem is its so small that I can't expland at all, but its probably for the best as I need to save for a new amp!
The looper was made by a guy called Natham Kirkham, hes a great guy to deal with and makes a alot of quality pedals. See Ebay (UK) to find some of his other pedals for sale, this was custom job he was more then happy to make for me, PM me for his email if you want to get something made (major plug but it is a great pedal).
