Post Your Pedalboard - Part I

I mean for live issues.
I never saw Bootsy Collins, Larry Graham, Marcus Miller or Flea (just to name a few) changing their settings during a song or even beetween two songs on stage.
Their Pedalboards come right and they just have to stomp them!
But I gess in sutdio or reahersal conditions, it's not the same.
(I appologize by advance for my poor english, I'am pretty tired and words don't come easily...)

yea i think you're right in that respect but i always like to have the option. i wrote an email to Keeley and he replied saying that i'd need the 4 knob version. but Analogmans comprosser actually has twice as much actack control which i think is really important on basses with different dynamics, i use active and passive so its just a question of me turning it a few notches one way or the other after i change bass.
although the Keeley does look a lot nicer with that blue LED, im going to go with the analogman

Here's the progress on the new board I'm building. I still need to fit diamond plate aluminum to the sides. The aluminum box is going to be a homemade looper/blender/tuner mute. The pedals I still need to finish it off are a Small Stone, Proco Rat, whammy, and a footcontroller for my delay.

Heres my ever evolving effects board (Tuner > Bass Drive > Big Muff > Ibanez Chorus > BassBalls > Phase 90)

I run my American Fender Jazz in to the board and then to my SWR 750X (with overdrive and subwave).

Honestly this is the only phaser pedal i ever had, I would like to try small stone and phase 90

Well, need... need is a tricky concept. But basically the answer is YES.

There's no way I would trade my analog pedals for some digital multifx unit, if that is what you're suggesting. The two simply do not compare.

That being said, I unplugged everything the other night and went straight into the amp, got the best tone I've heard in months.

I'm not suggsting that you do that. But there are some people out there with... how should I put it? EXCESSIVE(IMHO) pedal board setups. I will be eventually purchasing some individual pedals to extend the capabilities of this sweetly flexible unit.

Remember, this is my opinion, do what ever suits you best. If YOU feel you need 35+ pedals, be my guest.

mike eizenger (incubus) and john fruciante...they're always fiddling with their effects mid song...i do as well..every room is different, one night my HM-2 might be overpowering and the next night it'll be weak as with the same settings.

i find those multi-effect things really against live settings unless you have one like the me-50b's where in each patch you can turn off a seperate effect of the patch

I decided to not make a new thread for this.

It's made of Brazilian Mahogany and is wrapped in Ozite.

Completed/with pedal pics to come sometime tonight.

That emblem has my initials, name, and phone number. It was quite a treat to see that when I opened this baby up!

That is a really nice board. I'm hoping to have all my stuff on board(s) by the end of next month. I've already George L'ed everything up. May be able to post pics later....
