Just kept getting board with it. I don't really feel that I'd use it, on bass, in a band situation. It's in its box for now, but will probably end up with my other "un-used" FX (RV-5, PDDI, MD-2), on a separate FX board for my baritone.Dash Rantic said:Anyway, looks great, but where's the wah?

Nice board! That Huckleberry looks interesting. Some sort of distortion/fuzz?
On a side note, I seem to remember you using a Snarling Dogs Mold Spore Wah. Can you tell me a little about it's usefullness with a bass? If you liked it, why don't you use it anymore? Reliability issues? I have heard clips and I think it sounds interesting. Would you recommend it for making stupid noise that doesn't really sound like bass? Thanks.

Huckleberry is a new fuzz, I've got one of the first 10 to be produced.
I had the mold spore, the ring mod on it isn't very good it does a few wierd things but nothing that really struck me as wow thats crazy. As a bass wah it's very nice though and I think I prefered it to my Dunlop 105Q but end of the day it was big heavy and took up to much space, oh also I hate wah
I just stopped liking wah effects and had no use for them in my music so I sold it and stopped using them, not really missed it. As for reliability I think I'm yet to see a fully working snarling dogs effect, there is always something broken on them 
but when they do work they sound great.Hope this helps

Thanks for the info. I have read that there are a lot of construction/design problems with the Snarling Dogs pedals, but sometimes info on the 'net isn't too accurate. I'm mostly looking for a decent wah, and I thought a ring mod would be a cool bonus. The Dunlop and Morley wahs don't do anything for me, so they're out. I respect your opinion, so I guess I'll look elsewhere. Thanks.
Oh yeah. Making stupid noise that doesn't really sound like bass is fun sometimes. Sometimes I like to turn all of my pedals on at the same time, crank up my amp, and see what comes out. It's good for the soul and it pi$$e$ my neighbors off, too.

I just joined a new band (one guitarist drummer and vocalist) and the lack of a second guitarist (metal w/ lots of solos) fueled my GAS for pedals enough that I actualy put together all my knowledge from personal experiences and what Ive read on hear (damn you guys for making me wanna buy more ****!) and I bought all of these off of ebay (save for the rc-20xl which Ive had for awhile the unibass, echo park, and looper but I plan to get those in the near future)
