How did you afford having planet waves cables, my 2 long PW cables cost me an arm and a leg here in Scandinavia I see now also that we use the exact same setting on our Multicomps

u can get a pedalboard kit, wich is a 10foot long cable and 10 adapters, and create your own patch cables, (u get 5 of them) and that in total costs u $60+Tax, i bought the same kit,

but what i dont like about it is that u only get either right angel adapters or straight adapters, u cant mix and match

you can get whatever ends you need individually. it does get expensive... but planet waves cables ROCK.

the multicomp rocks... i've actually added a little more compression recently, but either way, it's an awesome pedal!

what has really make me wonder is the gain knob (on the multicomp), if i crank it up more i boost the volume so i will get a volume drop when i switch it off, should it be that way?

Hey jetpack, on those George Dennis pedals, is the big black square just a switch, or does it do something more? It seems with all the expression-controlled effects, it'd be something more, but I can't find any info on it.

It's just a piece of rubber over the switch.

the gain knob on the multicomp can act as a clean boost if you leave the compression all the way off. with the gain knob close to all the way down you're at unity gain (with my basses, at least).

and +1 to bass-shy... it's just a piece of rubber covering the switch. i'd originally thought that, myself... like maybe it was an expression... button(?)... where the harder you press it, the faster the rate of the phase gets, or something... kinda like those Jacques pedals. but alas, no.

that switch, by the way, is one of those optical ones. i don't quite know what that means, but i do know that it cuts your sound out for a millisecond when you engage it (at least mine does), hence the looper pedal from maxxplay.

X2 wireless receiver->Korg DT-10->Barge VFB-2->Clone Chorus->Multicomp->Amp

In the VFB-2 loop I have the TC Distortion->Dredgetone Angler->Boss BF-2

What's the green (rocktron?) pedal? where is it in the chain?

truth be told, I'm playing in a cover band mostly these days so it's a gigging pedal board. Even at 8 items that's 8 more than the average cover band bassist

Havn't posted an update of my board in a while...it's changed a tiny bit since deciding to go with one amp for the first time in a while...no pics as of yet...will post some after my st. patty's day show

I'll be gigging w/ the following:

Spector Legend 4 -> Samson Bass Airline Wireless -> HBE Hematoma -> Line 6 DL4 -> Boss CH-1 (older analog version) -> Peterson StroboStomp -> Peavey Tour 450/Avatar B410 Neo

Absolutely LOVING the DL4...this will be the first gig w/ it, so, I'll post a review of it afterwards...I definitely have to do some tweaking of the "mix" control on my presets after hearing it (or not being able to hear it) at practice today

I'm liking going back to one amp for the simplicity, but, I see myself going back to two amps sometime sooner or later...Brian at loop-master.com is building me a new splitter for that kind of setup, so, I'll be prepared for it.
