so your DI to the board is before your other effects? can i ask why you prefer that?

Its optional- I always run the DI out from my amp, and if I want, i can add the clean tone without effects as well. My amp di is suffice because I do have my clean tone blended in my board before it gets to my amp, but a seperate clean DI lets me EQ it differently if I choose.

Here's my board finally!! Just missing maybe a Dunlop 105Q. Not sure if that'll be added later or not. I'm pretty happy with the sounds I can get out of this!!! The board is a Warwick Gigboard RB23100. For those who wonder - the signal chain is SansAmp -> Aphex -> Boss ODB-3 -> DOD FX55-B -> Boss CEB-3 -> DOD FX75-B -> to the input on my amp. Lots of fun!! :bassist: :bassist: Not as boutique as some boards here but it gets the job done.

I don't think anyone else noticed I was gone :D
You must be new to the effects forum :hiding:

Nice board. I got to try one of those FX75 and liked it quite a bit.

Nice!!!

Good looking board too.

What's the blue pedal next to the reverb? Blue Bird?

Thank you very much! :)

It's an Outlaw Supply Blue Bird Tremolo. They make some great sounding pedals from what I've heard of soundclips, other than the Blue Bird.

They're made by a guy called Sandy, a really awesome guy. He even gave me some tips on better Ebaying when I bought from their Ebay store (I was new to Ebay at the time)!

EDIT: I lied! The blue pedal next to the RV-3 is an analog synth/noise box. It also doubles as a great fuzzy overdrive. Basically I can synthesize tones from it, dial in an LFO and make a weird tremolo sound with it... It's a really crazy box.

"a single oscillator synth,
w/ switchable lfo and audio in for FM
a low pass filter
high gain audio input
metal case and a true bypass stomp switch

Thats 5 knobs (LFO frequency, OSC frequency, modulation depth, input gain, low pass cuttoff) and 3 toggle switches (modulation routing, LFO range, OSC range)" - in an e-mail to me from Michael, the builder.

It was made by Michael, a native to the swamp lands of Florida - also a great guy!

Thanks, excane! I can only return the 1up; you're board is pretty sick too. ;)

Yeah I thought it looked like that carpet stuff. But how to do you keep them on there on the way to a gig, or is this more of a home/studio board?

well to be honest it's more of a home board (i just like to get crazy pink flyod-les claypool sounds out of it)
but i'm starting to play with it more live.. it is kind of a pain because all i have right now is a GK 210blx and the little 250 backline head and that giant board. so getting complete control over my sound is sometimes hard.. but here soon i'll be getting the 700rb-II and probably the neo cab.. so i'd say i'll be good.

Don't have a board as such but here's my usual gigging set up which I run straight into my power amp.

And here's what I use for the noisier/power violence type stuff (the very metal doesn't get used much at all):

New variation on my board! Got rid of the DOD Supra Distortion and added a Morley PBA. I got it for $30 from Music-Go-Round! I thought it was a good deal! Anyone know for sure?? :hiding:
