The Qtron+ is going to be replaced by an analog delay.
I take it the QBalls has effectively replaced it?
Very much so. To me it has a better sound, and being able to reign in the volume boost with the blend. Plus the distortion gets me the sound that I wanted with the assmaster qtron combo. It doesn't get as synthy, but now I can use the assmaster on it's own as a slayer of all things small and furry, and synthy stuff.
I want to get an analog delay with expression control so I can do some crazy feedback stuff, plus I really miss having a delay.
I find the Enigma sounds more synthy with the distortion when in Band Pass mode. But at the same time you have to turn the blend more towards the clean side to keep the low-end.
I have had mine in Band Pass almost the whole time I have had it. Low pass is nice and deep, but the band pass with some low end dialed in is burpy wet and kinda synthy on it's own.
Great setup ftp. I take it the first board is basically wave shaping and the second one modulation?
How are you liking the TZF?
@ fightthepower:
wow, your pedalboards are massive!!
You nearly got all the pedals on the market you need to create synth-like sounds.
And you got all the pedals I ever wanted to own...(cannot hide envy)
But are you really using them in a band context and live? My pedalboard is half as big as one of yours and I often have to tweak during songs, what I really love to do.
It's ok cause I have like 4 setups for each pedal I use...so I can remember everything and I know what sound will come out of my cabinet before playing a note.
And you got 5 filters!!! (including the complicated barge...)
I don't want to be insulting or anything like this, but is it useable in a live context? (beneath its weight)
Or isn't it an overkill?
I would love to hear something of your band!! Or at least some soundclips!
Cause now after you have finally shown your full setup, all the synth-bass-pedal geeks in this forum (including me), would really appreciate it to hear everything you can get out of this monster(s)!!![]()
Some video demos would be cool too.
But however really nice boards!!
right! I forgot it was him...
I often listened to his stuff and always liked it....
He must have a gigantic brain to remember all the settings![]()
Shoot, I was hoping to close down the last thread and be first in this one!
Anyway, here's a shot of my current board as I've outgrown the mini:

What is the name of that pedal board. I have been trying to find one of these for a while.
How's the Big Bear reverb sound?
