You forgot the TU-2 -> microPOG -> LPB-1 board. ;)
I guess that one wasn't supposed to be all to end all.
:p

:hmm: I do admit that there are some stages that I don't remember. Prolly cus they didn't last very long :D

IIRC I believe I ended up expanding/rearranging that one. Like the Hematoma>Attack Goat one. I don't know HOW I forgot that one

I think like most people on here, saying "thats the last effects board for me" is kindof a delusional fantasy.

Hell, my current board will prolly change in the future. Who knows what form it will take, but I'll prolly do something to it....

But it is the last effects board for me :D

Excuse me Mr Nyarlathotep could you give me your opinion on the Empress ParaEq?

Freaking awesome! So much possibility. I've yet to do a review on it, but a couple of people have, and they pretty much say the same thing: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=487340&highlight=empress

That should be the thread.... I originally didn't want one cus of the lack of low/high shelving, but thats cus I was looking into LPFs at that time. I use it to cut out more lows than I already do with the fuzzes, and enhance around 3Khz for more bite.

Makes the sloppyness of the Peaker and glitch of the NoiseBox totally lo-fi and cooler :D

I don't think I've ever done this before, but since I posted mine at the end of the last thread, I'm reposting them again

The Mini:

please tell me about the wounded paw phase 90, i have been hankering for a attack goat and a battering ram and i do need a phaser.

Thanks a lot, I've always wanted an EQ to "fine tune" my dirty sounds and I think this is the "one" I'm not that educated in frequencies and bands etc. but I think it will satisfy my needs thanks for the thumps up.

I've been kindof on the fence lately with the XXLB. It sounds awesome on its own, but even running it into my TLSF, it sounds.... Strange. Gain min, tone somewhere around noon and volume at unity sounds almost clanky (thru the TLSF that is) depending on where I put the warp control. It also makes the TLSF fuzz really.... Weird.....

Some more tweeking might yeild something useful, but I'd appreciate any advice on how to get it to interact nice with other pedals.

Doing some catchup.

Nonsense, a BigO board without cables is par for the course! :p

I know. I go through gear so fast that I don't ever want to bother hooking it up properly and end up with a mass of patch cables and me just grabbing four or five pedals for any gig/jam/practice. But this board is going to last a while. The Mini may not, and I'm thinking about setting up my dub board again (since I'm not using most of these pedals)

but my "fun" PT-2 is pretty well set for a while.

BigO- Whats the 'bandpass' like on your Brain Freeze? My Photron seems to not have a bandpass at all... more like a 50/50 blended something-pass, or band-reject or something... I checked the RF page and this seems to be what is described, so not sure if mine has a problem, if the description of the pedal is misleading, or if my ignorance on the subject is to blame.... emailed them last week and no response yet, so dunno.. Im trying to use the Photron as a bandpass now so hoping I can get it fixed, or modded, or whatever it may be.

The 'bandpass' passes the whole audio range... no highs or lows cut, they just come through unaffected with a phaser-ish sweep in the middle.

That's pretty much my experience too. I was thinking it would be much more "wah-like" but it's exactly as you described. Good for a "shimmer" type effect like on the MXR Auto Q but not really useful otherwise. I'm happy with low and high pass modes, but band pass is a disappointment.

TBO,...Talk to me about the Modded VPjr. Is it an expression pedal?

Yep, it can still be used as a volume pedal but now the tuner out is modded to be an expression pedal. It's nice and sturdy with an an easy to control sweep. I dig it.

Didn't you promise me some Deep Impact settings? For the love of Pete, PM me!

(PS - Pete's my cat.)

I will! I've found a few cool settings but honestly most of the time I just fool around and don't document what I find so I end up changing them later. I do have kaputsport's spreadsheet with some useful settings though. Do you already have that? If not, PM me and I'll shoot it your way.

Well, I should say that I'm likely not keeping it. That's nothing against the Wounded Paw, I'm just a huge phaser freak and have never been a fan of script circuit/Phase 90 phasers. But as MXR clones go, it's nice. The classic Phase 90 tone but with an additional depth control, feedback switch and better bass. If somebody digs script phasers for bass I'd recommend this one, the Tortuga Standard Issue Phaser or the Retro-Sonic.

IMHO, XXL B is not "nice". it sounded kind of cool with the Bass Muff when it was on Clean, but the ungodly wall of feedback it produced was causing problems (and I also only have so many pairs of clean underwear). I'd try all the possible (and Impossible) combinations you can muster.

Thanks guys!

That box is my Sennheiser G3 wireless unit.

I had a feeling.

I've been digging the Moog 105B. It's too big to fit on the Gator Tote so I'll have to come up some larger real estate. Honestly,...I've hated that gator tote since the day I got it,...but it was locally available, inexpensive and came with a power supply.

@Jared. That's crazy,...is there some sort of switch? An additional pot? I'm very interested. Robot Factory did this as a one off,...[begins search of RF's site].
