Honestly I pretty much do as well. However there are a few times having the distortion itself there comes in handy. But yeah, I tend to use the Tonebender for most applications that call for it.

I'm guessing it could be both. Given all the ambient stuff Justin does, and for that being such a long guitar-only part, I figured Justin was doing some of the stuff in the background.

The only thing is that it sounds very violin like. Lots of volume swells and such. It could be keyboards or something to that effect like Maynard does on 10,000 days.

Thanks :) And yes, he certainly does. Tool music aside, I really like having such a wide array of effects at my disposal. It's so much fun playing around with different combinations and such.

And finally all the pedals are here. This board is done.

Until I fire the Big Muff for a Malekko BM and get another env filter.

The VFB is the "big loop". The Send/Return goes into/out of the I/O the 3 Loooper. I did this so I can have a blend capability at times when I only have one rig. Otherwise, my dry and effect signals are handled by the Loooper which has two outputs (clean and effected) that go into two rigs.

Loooper 1: GT2>Fulltone BD>Wah>BSW>BM Pi

Loooper 2: BSM

Loooper 3: POG

The EB VP is the last pedal in the entire chain.

Just finished my pedalboard over the weekend, it still needs some metal edging put on it but it works pretty well.... Covered some MDF in this Veltex stuff and holy cow does it grip, I had to fight with the mongrel just to get my tuner off the board :D

I wanna chop the cable off the power board and install a kettle cord socket instead but i'll do that when I can be bothered to make the trek to Dick Smith's (That's radio shack for you yanks and maplin for the poms :))

i have long since removed the MT2 and added a lot of things i would post later perhaps.

the only pedal in question there is the red one... its a locally (philippines) made orange squeezer clone and i painted it red and added some sawed off female bathroom sign. heres a close up:

im proud of the paint job and design ... it was my first... also the same day i learned that theres such thing as first coating and so *lol*

the metal things i had them engraved in a metal shop where they do those things you see on medals or lawyer's desk... it looks better in real life cause the light doesnt mess with it.

we a lot of Punch factory fans here, what do they do, add more volume? I probably wouldn't need this if i have the Barge Concepts VFB :P Or get the MXR micro amp.

The Punch Factory is a compressor and DI box, actually. :p

You could use it as a boost, but that's not what it's supposed to be for. There's lots of threads on it in this forum if you're interested.
