Stu L:

i had it built by an engineering student. it is decent/functional, but he could have done a better job. a lot of ppl like it but oh well... i tend to like those DC bricks i see in this page, hehehe.

-*-

just curious... i know you guys from the west get Behringer, but do you get this product called "boston?" ... its a made in china cheap boss clone that goes by the name of GTX too - basically, i think the company doesnt have a name, and the ones who market it are also the ones who would get to stamp their way on the pedal. maybe its their way of avoiding law suits.. because the clones they make are really really close.

Most of them are bought from TB'ers here.

What Sabine pedal is that? I had the OD (red), and it was decent. Nothing to write home about, though. It was bigger than it needed to be, and it was a pain to power since it didn't use a 2.1mm barrel jack. I traded it for a pair of strings.

that covers most everything, I would like a slider closer to 800 hz myself, but it could work well, I have never tried one. I never liked the GEB-7 though, it has a huge gab between 800hz and 4khz... I think the MXR is a better choice here.

But I prefer a parametric EQ myself, once you figure out how to use them well they are much better IMO. You can customize your sound much much more

the only reason I don't have one is that the one on my amp gets me close enough to my desired tone that I can't justify spending the money on one. I'll probably get one if I ever upgrade my amp.

Sorry, this is what happens when you're waiting for the week to end so you can get your paycheck and pay off your credit card and then think of what to buy next :)

And also when you're waiting for a Barge Concepts VFB-2 to come in the mail :P
