I want to become a supporting member, but the site won't take my credit card for some reason... Regardless, here's the list of my pedals and some concerns/questions. I'll put up pics when TB accepts my money!

In signal chain order:
EHX Octave Multiplexer
EHX Metal Muff
Tech 21 XXL B
EHX Nano Bassballs
EHX Nano Stone
EHX Mini Q-Tron
EHX Poly Chorus
Boss DD-20
EHX Pulsar
Yamaha Magicstomp Bass

On the way- Barge VFB2
To exchange -Guyatone MC3 for ST2 compressor

Power - DC Brick and a gigantic power strip

Questions/concerns:

1. The Q-Tron, Pulsar, and Octave all have reversed polarity input jacks (tip=pos) which forces me to use wall warts. There is physically no way to power all my pedals off the brick and power strip (which has 8 spaced plugs specifically for wall-warts)

2. Should I sell/trade these EHS pedals for the XO/Nano line which have the common Boss style power supply inputs or suck it up and use the wall warts?

3. Any suggestions for a pedalboard

...What? :confused:

Dude, your DC Brick comes with 1/8" +tip cables for a reason - those pedals are only reversed polarity at the plug!

That's entirely up to you - it'd save a heck of a lot of board space. :D

But as I mentioned before, wall warts should not be an isuse for you right now, since your DC Brick will power everything except your Magicstomp and your Polychorus. The only problem is that you have (7) outputs for 9VDC on that brick, and you have (8) pedals that can use them... something's going to have to stay on a wall wart.

First thing's first - you need to lay them out and figure out how much space you need! Then, you can search the Effects Forum for a huge variety of options.

Mysticboo- I'm still abit confused. The Dunlop instructions state that "ALL included cables use...+ barrel and -center." When I did plug the Q-Tron, Pulsar, and Octave into the Brick, they lit up the blue led on the Brick even though it wasn't plugged in! That was my first clue that something was amiss. Please advise/clarify. And thank you for your advice.

My Brick came with a special set of cables with 1/8" phone plugs on both ends. It only came with a few, but you should have them. The ones referenced in the manual are the 2 standard cables that come with the Brick... but my Brick (only three months old) came with 3 types - one of which is not mentioned in the manual online.

I think the online manual is the old one... I think the manual that came with my Brick might be different. I'll double check when I get home.

Even if yours didn't come with those cables, they should work fine with any 1/8" adapter plug from Visual Sound (1 Spot) or Godlyke. I used to have a Small Stone and Small Clone that used those plugs, and they worked perfectly with my 1 Spot - there's no reason for them to not work on the Brick.

...that's odd...

The Brick is automatically turned on when it's plugged into the wall, whether or not any pedals are plugged into it... you sure that's not what happened?
