Ever soldered before? Then you're halfway there. The most difficult part, IMO, is ID'ing the resistors. The instructions have the value, followed by the ring layout. All in all, a simple task, but some of the colors run together in my old contact lenses
I wasn't in love with the comp initially. However, with tweaking the internal trimpot, and adding the attack knob, I like it a great deal more. Please don't ask me to describe the sound, I'm just not good at those things.
As for the filter, it's great. I've never had an envelope filter before that I liked. This one is subtle, and that is great for me. It's nothing like, say, a Bassballs. I'm about to send it over to Spanky to play with next to his Tone Factor and to just have some fun with.
Does it? I can't imagine why
ADD, I guess. That and I need to get a new amp. IF I do sell it, it's easily replaceable.
heheh is it just me or does a variation of that sentence appear in any LBM post you make?
I can't come to terms with the idea of selling it... the fact that it's back on my board has a lot to do with it

yeah it sure does get funky. and yes I LOVE my BMS. The more and more I mess with it, the more I realize I like it better than my old Korg G5. It's an awesome synth. Hopefully you'll get yours back soon

I've had it for about a year and its been awesome, but I just matched it up to the English Muff'n today and its 20394857203459 (actual figure) times more fun.

Yeah don't do it man... You love that thing and have been flying its flag for sometime. Keep hold of it for a bit longer IMO.
I'll let my LBM go if I find a better replacement. Emphasis on the if...
So far, the MXR Blowtorch became its companion instead of its successor. And the Wooly Mammoth isn't my thing... the Swollen Pickle doesn't seem different enough to warrant the expense of its boutique clones... I don't want a Big Muff clone... the Tone Bender sounds good but doesn't seem necessary in my arsenal...
Heck, only the B:Assmaster has me intrigued. And if I bought that, I bet it'd just end up joining the other two distortion pedals on my board
The Meatball is quite possibly the best and most versatile envelope filter of all time.
