Wow--I didn't know that Tone Factor stuff like that Eleven pedal were only made in such small runs

Overdriven bass tones can still be heard in a band mix (if you set it up right), but as you start getting into the realm of fuzz, it's important to realize that fuzz is one of those effects where the music needs to be crafted around it, to a degree. If your guitarist is playing heavy metal, chances are you'll get lost in the mix unless you're using a mid-boosted fuzz (and not everyone likes how that sounds). If your guitarist isn't going so far in terms of distortion, you'll have the chance to shine through. Fuzz isn't something that can fit in anywhere.
Take a band like Muse for example... a lot of fuzz and synth effects are used on bass, but they're very careful on how the guitar is applied over it. It's easy to overlap someone else's sonic spectrum when everyone's tones are distorted.
Yup, it's supposed to do that. The Hum Debugger was crafted with single-coil pickups in mind. The only big drawback is its power supply - it's 7.5V instead of 9V, I believe.
Jetpackbassist has one too, so I'm sure he could give you a second opinion. I, on the other hand, have never tried one out.

only my Moogs right now. i have to get one of those labeler things so that i can give them all nametags.
Very nice board already, not even considering what you've yet to add, but are you sure your going to be able to fit two fairly large pedals like the POG and the boomerang on there?
Yep. I was trying to boost my signal in my old Ric. Its gone a tad quiet over the years and doesn't open up my BR-2 auto wah very well. I was cranking my Punch Factory to 10. It Got a tad noisy.
Im hoping my Fodera model 2000 pre thats in the mail will give me some boost. If its not going to, possibly don't reply and just let me find out the hard way... I'll be pretty devastated
An external pre amp is likely the best way to go. I have a passive jazz (MIM) that just doesnt drive my effects the way my active basses do. Kind of causes me to not play it much as it just doesnt give me the life out of my pedals that my other basses do.
Thanks! I am hoping to have it finished by the weekend! It's for sure going to be a little cramped! I have another smaller board built by the same guy that I can use for overflow! I may end up adding a tier or a shelf to this one to give me more room. I'm looking forward to hearing all this once it's wired!
Thanks! I'm hoping to get it finished pretty quick. I'm trying to decide if I want to run the cables under the board where you can't see them (I have a three inch storage area under the entire board) or do I want to run the cables on top of the board? On top of the board would allow me to take the actual board out of the case should I want to. Any ideas?? Which should I do? Need some advice!!!
