This is how it sounds!
What do you think?

I'm getting there. Very pleased with control surfaces. I might hate Apple more than I thought I would. Still, trying to make it work. Think I'm going to have to learn more about MIDI/OSC. So far everything in Logic is either super easy and intuitive or just straight up missing. Mapping tap tempo to an external button was easy but why that isn't a normal hotkey is beyond me. And then there is automation lane splitting. There is no hotkey. It's a control mouse click 100% of the time. Still, having serious fun with this:

The Wacom tablet is quite useful with drawing automation or on-screen XY axis stuff (precision mode is slick for this). With no keyboard for the foreseeable future I'm working on getting the PadKontrol set up in a few different keys (pentatonic with a 4th seems to be my best shot). Just got the glowing knobs today and, after nearly losing my mind a couple times, Reddit actually came through for me.

A bit longer than expected to get the new studio furniture built and continue to get this small room in order this year. I was hoping before years end, but alas. A few more pieces on the way to help organize my studio. Alot of killer music, mixing and musicianship in motion. Finally moved the 3-way Focal Trios in here now with the Be6 2-way as I found proper stands that would actually fit. It's a taller desk and I have to use a tall chair/stool. It's been cool.

RME ADI-2 Pro FS AD/DA for mastering conversion, LYNX HILO AD/DA for mixing/monitoring. I recently added a Ferrofish Pulse 16 AD/DA +24dBu version for 16 additional I/Os for tracking and outboard analog inserts into the FF802. It replaced my Aurora 8. So far, it's very impressive and clocks perfectly. Get them while you can at this price.

With the exception of monitors I'm pretty set/happy. This will eventually be built into the house (if a closet office is a cloffice I guess I will be building a cludio), but for now I'm trying to figure out how the heck to get all of this to fit on a desk. I need something multi-tired I think and something on... eh... a floating arm? Small table that scoots out of the way? Also unsure which setup is best.

This is how it is now. I like the keyboard in front of the monitor, but it simply doesn't fit:

A second screen in front of the keys at a 90 degree angle seems like it could work:
