I'm not doubting you, but it still seems odd to me no one has them. You must have my kind of luck!
In Ukraine, what they lack, they just make it up. I have an amp set at 115volts. It's 230v over here. I accidentally plugged it in and blew it up.
So much smoke came out and I though it was toast. Well I brought it to the authorized dealer and the tech there told me to give him a few days to sort stuff out. Well, after searching the internet, he got a bunch of stuff together and fixed my amp. I can't tell you the name of the amp to avoid people from getting into trouble, but I called the dealer in Japan and asked if it was fixable and they quoted me 200 bucks minimum and up to 450 bucks if the LCD is gone.
The amp only cost me 700 bucks worth of yen. (the original price is more like 1500 bucks, discontinued and became cheap) Well the guy in Ukraine fixed it for me for 75 bucks and even converted it into a 230v! The guys in Japan said it was not doable. (for all sorts of reason) . It got done in Ukraine.
People just make things up as they go along, which is why stores don't have to carry a whole array of stuff. I once needed washer for the drain plug on my CBR1000RR. I brought some over from Japan. Well they don't sell you this stuff in Ukraine. You have to go to the authorized dealer to get the washer for the plug.
I asked some other riders how they overcame this and they said, '' buddy, we just cut out some aluminum and folded it and drilled a hole''. Another guy said he used an old piece of leather from his beat up boots.
I guess where there is a will..... there is a way.
