Double Bass Practice amp to use with upright and electric bass?

I'm looking for something small enough to carry around and loud enough to practice and play lowish volume acoustic gigs with, would be simple but I want to play upright and electric bass through it (bass max and preamp). Will a good quality bass guitar practice amp (such as these:Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed) handle this fine, or should I get some other sort of speaker?

You could try the Flight Case from Phil Jones Bass. It's small, ridiculously light and should work well in an acoustic setting.

Only downside is the price.

Gallien-Krueger MB-150E

Small amp, sounds great for both upright and electric bass. Ron Carter and Dave Holland use the MB-150E so you'd probably be in good hands.

Cheers but I was really looking for something more in the 'portable/semi portable' practice amp 80-150 pounds range, I was drooling over those Phil Jones amps though.

Okay. How about a Yorkville combo amp? Are they available in the UK? They've gotten some good reviews in this forum, for the price and all that.
