Practice Amp's

Why not just buy a Gallien Krueger MB combo? They're small, light and you could use them in a gigging situation. Just because you have the power doesn't require you to use it.

They're only slightly larger than a "practice amp", and probably about the same weight.

How can the Krueger MB have enough power/wattahe to Gig in a club and be lite in weight.. I dont understand that one.. most higher wattage bass amps with any sort of power have a considerable amount of weight to them..

probably looking at $200.00 to $250.00 thats why I might consider the Roland at 300.00 but just seem like a lot of money for what im using it for thats all..

Class D amplifer and neodymium speakers. They're not for stadium use, but should handle a small to medium gig just fine.

I had a Line 6 Studio 110 that was pretty nice. 5 models (+ a hidden one) pretty much netted any tone I needed for practice, and was probably alot more capable than I had the urge to find out.

75 watts and a good sounding 10" in a small package... Might not have been capable of high volume fundamental lows, but if anyone finds a similarly sized practice amp that is, send me a link, please.

Roland Micro Cube. Battery powered so I can drag it around. Great to accompany an acoustic guitar. Sounds awesome, great amp models for matching tones when learning tunes. And a built in drum machine!
