Okay, I have another question. La Bellas are as smooth as glass to the touch. How do GHS flats compare in that aspect?

Smoother than 'Slick Willie' Clinton being impeached.
I peeked inside the package earlier today just to see how my new P Flats look. They look very smooth and nicely polished.
Not like the La Bellas with blotchy spots they talk about in this thread:

Am I supposed to be the "anti-GHS conspirator" that you're referring to just because I'm asking people how GHS strings (a string I haven't tried yet) compare to a string that I am familiar with? If so, I'm flattered. That's actually a pretty studly sounding title for myself.
@Thuddy Waters honestly i find labella, ghs, TI, to all be in the same ballpark smooth wise. hands down the smoothest are pyramid flats, they are hand polished with graphite and when you play them for the first week you get graphite residue all over your fingers, they are truly smooth as glass. now that's not to say others aren't smooth, because they are. but for me that's not a big factor. tone and tension are.
Don't flatter yourself. Perhaps you'd be better off expounding the truth.

I've tried the La Bella 760FL so I'm familiar with them. They were once my go-to flats for my P bass.
I will be putting the Precision Flats to the test for the next few months, so stay tuned for my evaluation. I have a good feeling I probably won't be going back to La Bella after this.

You are badgered by someone asking you questions about a string??? And is that some type of implied threat about coming to Virginia to be "enlightened" by you? Good stuff. It's interesting how nobody else is badgered by my questions. They're actually giving me sincere answers. I promise I won't ask you any more questions, though. But, since you don't own this thread, I won't promise not to ask the cool people (like Michael_t and markjazzbassist, for instance) on this thread any more questions.

I once knew a guy from Idaho. We called him "American Dan". He was a foreman for a drywall company I worked for in Toronto. He was a super nice guy ; I imagine the archetypal example of the Idahoan male....
