Running a Mesa Subway Preamp DI into a Peavey IPR 1600 DSP, fun times!
Do other Peavey IPR users use the EQ or the Maxxbass?
My IPR 3000 is fed by a Peavey Max Bass pre-amp.
Did you mean, "the EQ *on* the Maxbass"? Because I definitely do (the solid state channel has a 7-band EQ, which the tube side has low/mid/high)

View attachment 1019488 I pull this out once and a while.. I pick a pre-amp and cab depending on the style of music I'm playing.. The Qsc 3402 amp runs quiet and cool even at hot outside shows..
Sorry no, I meant using the in-built EQ in the Poweramp. The IPR 1600 DSP has Maxxbass as an option in the poweramp EQ section.
I am interested to hear your take on the different power amps?Love preamp power amp setups, here's mine. Left to right.
Ampeg SCR-DI - Peavey GPS 3500.
Sansamp RBI - Peavey DPC1400X.
Audio-Technica Wireless - Alesis nanocompressor - Ampeg SVP-PRO + Ampeg SVPCL A/B switch for preamps - QSC PLX 3002.

Nice, kind like my show rig above. Love my Ampegs and QSC.
