Premier Brand j-bass

I ran across a good looking J bass with "Premier" on the headstock. I cant seem to find much about it online so im coming to you guys. Based on the current owners other instruments its got to be a pretty old bass. Im guessing 70s or 80s. if not older.

Anybody got any info on this??

I dont know anything about the brand. I have seen one on Craigslist before though. IIRC it wasnt a bad looking bass for being another one of countless knockoffs. I think $75-100 would be tops on it.

I know this threads been dead, but I happen to have one of these basses with "Premier" on the headstock. It's more of a p-bass build though rather than jazz. Anybody got Info on this brand besides the article above?
