Probably shouldnt ask this but is this legit?

Im not entirely sure what you mean by legit?

If you mean the price, yes. But Im sure there is a set price, and the bids cant go lower than that. The $0.99 is just a beginning bid gimmick.

It actually has 6 strings.

It is fretless.

Looks legit to me.

EDIT: I didnt see this line, its pretty hilarious.
i know you have many bass already and you play bass for many years. but if you never play this 6 string fret less bass before, then you are not really a bass player yet.

oh good point, the video shows a guy playing a similar bass (pickups are different for a start). But for $26 you can afford to replace the soap bar pick ups for EMGee Gee's or Bartoline-ies or Seemore Dumbcuns.
The individual saddles in the bridge are a nice touch.
Get him to send you a picture of where the bridge and neck meet to see if it is a tight fit. If big gap then might not love you long time.
The ebony fingerboard doesn't look dark enough for me but that's a personal thing.
Ask him which country the bass is made in. Korean's aren't so bad? China? Indonesia? India? His second cousins backyard in lower east Mongolia? Or perhaps GM are making them to avoid bankrupcy!
For $26 bucks it might be okay to send to a Luther and get it squared up.
