Proof that P is better than J?

OP, if your intent was not to troll, and not to start an argument of P vs. J or Fender vs. the world, you are simply the worst at choosing words to make a point I have ever seen.

You already know tensions are high and emotions run wild with regard to Fender basses here at TB. So for you to title a thread "Proof that a P is better than a J" is just dumb. Next time, just ask your question about the used market and don't try to put up a headline that will grab so much attention. The argument is on you because you SHOULD have known that a title like that would have set people off. If you DIDN'T know that, you are pretty unaware of your surroundings.

When the smoke clears, the bass is only as good as the player...Jamerson could have played all those songs on jazz(if it were available) and still killed it! Jaco could've grabbed a fretted jazz or P-bass and everyone would still take note of his mastery of the instrument.

As for why there are more jazz basses for resale,I have no idea and it shouldn't matter to anyone. If we all paid attention to what others thought without trying for ourselves, what kind of musicians would we be?
