Just have to chime in with with more AI Customer Service kudos... Bought my Clarus Series II head used several years ago and it has been a champ. At a recent gig, I noticed that both the High and Low inputs had gone completely out... Rarely use them as I normally run my Platinum Pro straight through the effects loop... Called AI and spoke with Rick. He asked it I was comfortable opening the amp and then sent clear instructions on a possible fix. That didn't work, so he suggested sending it in and emailed an RMA label... It arrived in his hands on Monday, was fixed and made it all the way back across the country into my waiting hands by noon on Friday... Two gigs over the weekend and it is working like a champ! I cannot even begin to relate how comfortable I am having my AI back!!
My question: If a 'small' amplifier company can have a warranty statement laid out in such plain language (as below) and then completely stand behind it, why can't the 'giants'??
From the AI website... As a general statement, during the first five years, we will repair for free or replace (at our option) any of our products if they are not functioning as they should. Beyond that, we will fix any of our products without charge no matter how old they are. Both commitments apply whether you are the first owner or the fifteenth
Huzzah!!
