PS3 = owned.

I've got a PS3 and I think it's great. No problem finding games and Blu Ray movies look amazing.

You people don't know what the hell you're talking about. I don't suppose any of you geniuses actually checked the links in that article. I saw two links to articles saying that it WAS a PS3 exclusive, and two links that go the PS3 grill.

So, where is the confirmation? Can anyone show me a reputable site that shows it is coming to the XBox360?

Although, to be honest, I wouldn't really care if it WAS released on the 360.

Of course, I just noticed that everyone in this thread is too young to even drink legally. Maybe you're all just jealous that you can't afford one. ;)

LOL the old fart thinks he knows something about video games. Go back to Pong.

Eh, I'm happy enough with my Wii. I've not been all that impressed by the PS3 yet, but I've spent probably about 12 hours total playing one since they rolled out. Once I spend some more time with it, I may decide I'd want one. They'd have to drop at least $100 on them first, though.

I'm 18, and in the UK, I can buy all the booze I want. Oh, and welcome to TB, where the users regularly spend thousands bass guitars. Yep, we sure can't afford those elusive PS3's!

360 all the way, I'm currently caning the new C&C game and loving it, just finished the GDI campaign.

Man, the PS3 is a real goof.

I've been playing the Warhawk Beta for the last 4 days. The PS3 is awesome. Period. Using the Six-Axis to fly the ship while using the analog sticks to aim my weapons is something you couldn't do on any other system right now. 32 person deathmatch is a blast, too. Of course, I'm also hooking it up to a 1080p 50" TV and full surround sound system, and that certainly helps the presentation. When you are in a surface to air missle launcher and shaking the walls when the rockets launch and blow up a ship trying to provide cover for a graound assault trying to take your flag, it's hard not to grin.

I'm also in the Home Beta. While I am not the primary market (a little old, I think), it has some amazing possibilities for when it goes live in the Fall.

There are so many games coming out in the next 6 months that the landscape will be a little different when 2008 gets here. Anyone writing off the PS3 at this point in it's lifespan is a fool. Sony turned a record profit last year--they can wait for the library and userbase to expand.

After the most recent firmware update, the PS3 can now upscale standard DVDs to full 1080p and Bluray movies are outstanding. The new Pirates of the Carribean discs just released are the pinnacle of HD video that I've seen. And, the Planet Earth series on BluRay is a sight to behold.

I honestly couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Did you ever make a bass with that Curbow neck? When it's done, feel free to come over and play some PS3 so I can check it out. :bassist:

For that alone, I am envious! :spit:

Haven't done anything with the neck yet. I thought I had my ideas finalized, then spent the money on some recording gear instead. I'm actually thinking about turning it to a wide 5-string now. I don't know. Too many options! :help:

I had real high hopes for the PS3. I was hoping for it to be great, but it's been a huge gaffe from Sony that they really couldn't afford. Thankfully, Microsoft have taken over the reigns to lead the new generation of games to glory! :D

Just out of curiosity--what did Sony do in the three months since the PS3 was released in Europe to make you go from having "high hopes" to being an utter disappointment? What huge gaffes are you referring to compared to every other console launch in history except the Wii?

Have you seen games like the new Ratchet and Clank, Little Big Planet, Heavenly Sword, Lair, and Uncharted?

They did nothing. ;)

They don't even have online feature. The Wii has that. Lawl.

Theres no real incentive to dish out the large amount of money for an overpriced system with no real games.

Sony elitism makes me laugh.
