Interesting, I dig it. In the earliest days, there was Stinky Toys(who toured with the Pistols on a European jaunt)…

..and this outfit, Telephone, who fell closer to a Rockpile/Flamin’ Groovies kind of thing(if that counts)…


Then, yeah, I know he was Belgian, but so was Brel…

I do that Feelgood song in my cover trio. To this list I would add Ducks Deluxe…


Members went on to The Motors(who begat Bram Tchaikovsky), Graham Parker, and the Tyla Gang, all of which weren’t punk by any stretch of the imagination, but benefited from the lateral association. Add to that Eddie and the Hotrods…
