PYPB 37: In a row?

Grey Stache - what a Muff should be!

Oxide - for time when the Stache isn't quite doing it.
I love my Grey (Rainbow) Stache. Sadly, it's currently in its way to Ryan for repairs, I think the problem is a bad connection inside the left 4pdt footswitch, but he'll look at it.

I also have an Oxide on the way from Taylor, looking forward to testing it.

...what I meant to say, was "This. So much this.".

On topic, I'll post a pic of my board once I get a delay to complete it. Any reason to not go for the TC Nova Repeater?

For me it sounds too plastic. Do you already have any other delays in your board or is it supposed to be the only one?

FWIW I've heard nothing but praise for the Nova Repeater/Delay and nearly bought one a month ago until I decided just to get an M9 instead. Only gripe is that they run on 12v, although the Repeater can be daisy chained at 9v, though obviously less headroom. If your power supply has a 12v out though of course this isn't a problem at all!

On the pedal itself, it says 9-12V, so I assume 9V would be fine.

Kind of hard to explain, but it just seems as though you are plain a bass made of plastic. It lacks density... Got the same feeling on the guitar.

For that price I'd go for a DL4, definitely or go for a echo park+carbon copy (both used).

DL4 and Echo Park are great delays. I'd say that the Echo Park is the best bang for your buck delay out there.

that IS neat if it works like that. please to report back!
how much was it?

Edit: wait i misread this and not your original post haha. Thats what i thought, that will be awesome. Please keep me in the loop on this. I wish there was more loops... lol
Yes sir's, it was 179 and free shipping from PedalTrader.com. Once I've had time to mess with it I will report back.:)

Like I said, the delay will fill the last spot on my board. There isn't room for a huge pedal like the DL4. The Nova Repeater is the biggest I can fit. Also, a separate tap tempo footswitch is imperative. What other options are left then?

The DD-7 also has a built in tap tempo function, but like the echo park it requires that you hold the footswitch down for a couple of seconds to use it, which I just don't find practical when I need to adjust it on the fly. I believe the flashback uses your audio signal to set the tempo: you hold the switch down and literally tap your strings - in other words not an option to use mid-song.
