I actually am! Though its mostly two rather than three.

I really like the light overdrive the BDDI can achieve. I set the drive to 3:00, that's setting #1. Its exactly the tone I was looking for.
I turn the drive and the presence down for mellow songs. that's setting #2.
I still have to try more settings out to get a useful #3 but I am Really happy with this simple set up.
The Rat Tail sounds fantastic to me now!

all I want to add now is a reverb/delay and maybe a fuzz/muff....

You're right, the only thing that has stayed consistent on my board is the One Spot and the board itself lol.
I feel satisfied now though. Just a few more things to do to it :)

yeah its definitely a set up I could rock. I say keep BDDI you have 'specially if you enjoy the more overdriven sounds.

Im considering picking up a Wren and Cuff Pickle pie B to replace the Swollen Pickle. Actually a few peds I'm dying to try out, but been spending money on new basses, synths and mixers. :help:

The freeze early is pretty cool for capturing a sound, and then getting down (literally on the floor) and tweaking knobs. Having 2 loopers after it (MultiPlay and the M9) is rad. I can sample a bass line or drone on the M9 and then get some knob-twisted new sounds from the Freeze without effecting the bass line.

Cool. I've been approaching it the other way around: keeping the freeze almost at the end of the line (only followed by delay and reverb), and then using it to keep a somewhat consistent drone while being able to change my bass sound over it. I might have to experiment with changing it around a little more - putting it in front of an envelope filter was a lot of fun, I recall.

Then again it might come off my board all together if our new potential bandmate, playing synths and cello, sticks around. Maybe that will be an opportunity to bring back the ol' MF-102 in its stead. :smug:

Sounds sweet. Made me think about Invalid Link Removed (warning: awesome avant-garde content!). Is the M-series meant to make use of standard momentary switches like that, or is that switch more of an on/off exp. pedal in practice?

Alot of shows this summer, and limited travel room. That said, I'd like to introduce the "take only what you need to survive board". Which is pretty much a bunch of dirt w an oc-2 and a meatbox. I'm really diggin it though. They go well together.

Here's mine. I had to sell a few pedals in hopes of funding the fix of an old Hiwatt head, but it's probably gone for good :rollno:. I think I'm going to try to get ahold of a 400+ and call it a day. This board still serves me well though...:bassist:

I am totally keeping the BDDI, its working out very well for me :)

I'm on the behndy tour box o' fuzz list and he has a Pickle Pie B in there!! :hyper:
I'm glad I'll have the chance to give it a try, along with all the other goodness lol

I had also kept the freeze last-ish and used it the same way you describe. Up-front I found its a great tool to let you get down and play your pedals!

Awesome vid! That's basically what the setting I described can do.

You're correct- its an on/off expression switch (a momentary switch wired to a 10k resister).

Since my last post, I switched out the Freeze for a Boss DD3 set to self oscillation... That is way more fun!

first time you haven't had doubts on a pedal.. haha good **** :hiding:

na but seriously, i'm the same. I love my sansamp, i've soooorta wanted to try the MXR bass di lately. but honestly, i dont need to. my BDDI is great, does everything i need at low volume, and at high volume. the only reason i would lose it would be losing my s/s head for tube(it will happen eventually) and even then, i'd take it to every gig.

cool bout behndy's tour, thats a ****in awesome thing to do. what a LEGEND. when you try the pickle pie b, lemme know cuz that pedal is really the only reason i have any pedal gas left. (and the phat phuck)
