how about tracking? I've been able to use the whammy 4 and it works pretty well for my needs, but is the tracking on the new one better on bass at all?
The wait is the worst... Looks really good man! Are you using the Phat Phuck as a boost or did you mess with the trim pot?

OOF. finally got off my buttucks and (sorta) wired up my board. i've been shuffling just the essentials for the songs we have done on a PT-2, but i missed a buncha shtuff.
the empty spot is for the bypass looper i bought offa Leshy (thanks menger!) and is back from getting pimp-tickled by Danno. when that's in i'll mount the M9's psu underneath and tidy up the cables, but kinda silly to do it now 'cause it's going to be split into two sections.
i wish i had room for the Goatkeeper too, but for what we're doing the trems on the M9 will cover fine and i just needed the space. the Year2525 is probably overkill, i would replace that with a Iron Ether Cygnet2 if it hit soon or i'm planning on a Particle there.
just wobbled around for like an hour and i am HAPPY.

This is the second time I've seen The Elements with the bass and mids cranked. I don't run them anywhere near that... But I do bump both bass and mids on the Rusty. Are yours at noon on the Rusty? I'm going to have to see what you guys are doing.
noon on the Rusty, the Elements eq section is usually a TAD lower. like between 1/2 and 3/4. knobs.... they got a'bumped during board build. oopsies.
that thing is such a beast. i try to keep them in order or less to moar dirt B3k, Elements, TAFM, Heavy Mecha. gives me a nice range of graaahhhGHHHGHHHH to choose from without any knob adjustments.

OOF. yeah. i'm going to be happy when i have that looper in and get enough time to have this setup down. there are some TOANZ available. so good. but the Nimbus is in an awkward place for some stuff.... like there's a song we do that one riff has clean staccato stuff for half the measure then 'verb'd'd'd out chords for the second half. had to go from the side and it wasn't super convenient to click it on and off a lot.

Tracking seems to be equal to the Whammy IV on Classic mode so far, but then in the Chord mode, it's a tiny bit slower (only on really fast shred-type runs) but lets you track/shift whole Chords (surprisingly
) smoothly without glitching. Is REALLY what I've been hoping for after owning the Bass Whammy and 2 Whammy IV's. Plus the sweep of the pedal is smoother too! So, many plus's!In terms of tone, it's still a digital pedal and I never noticed any tonal improvement with the Bass Whammy over the Guitar versions (apart from the Bass version sucked tone big stylee! haha!).
rarrp. misspoke (typed?). i'm waiting on a BYPASS looper for that spot. so i can have two sections of loops and/or use a pedal on the bottom row to turn on and off stuff on the top row, which will be more convenient for certain songs where i have to on off a pedal a lot.
