Ha...funny, because I have a couple more things that I'll be changing/adding, including a Polytope (word is there my be some expression capabilities added soon...:hiding:), an Expressionator, and swapping the tuner for a TC Poly Mini.

BUT, I look at other boards and think, "It would REALLY be great if I had a 6 - 9 loop switcher in the front..." :help:

Moving in a few weeks. Here's where my basement pedal cabinet collection is at:

Look at those Devi and JHS pedals side-by-side, brawling it out, and trashing my signal in the beautiful fuzzy ways ;).

Really tempted to pick up a Ibanez TS9B to compare to the CM2. It would fit in with the lineup of Maxon pedals. But to win the spot, it comes down to tone, and I really like the tone of the CM2 so the TS9B would have a hard battle to win.

Have been split between which chorus pedal to keep. Like having the extra features and tweakability of the Tech21 BBC. Yet the tone of the CS550 is perfect for me, but the pedal is very sensitive to input levels that causes ugly clipping distortion. Turns out, the buffered bypass of the BBC sends the CS550 a signal that is just right. Adding the T21 chorus has solved my clipping woes and made the Maxon useful again. So I'm happy with keeping both. The CS550 set to a smooth slow sweeping shimmer and the BBC covering flanger duties.

And yes it mixes really well with all the dirts I use especially the rat gives it some more umph in my opinion. I even like it with the wooly mammoth clone even though alot of people say it doesn't play well with it.

And honestly it can work as its own mild od. When you dig in on it can get Nicely dirty.

yeah, i noticed that bit of grit on the wren and cuff demo vid, i was a little disapointed he didnt play with the settings abit. i use my ocd in a similar way... but the idea of just one knob is whats tempting. ocd is great... i'd have a hard time parting with it.

i have a mammoth clone also thats gathering dust at the moment... i only use it for the odd recording... might give it another whirl.

The one knob on top is the main adjustment but the one I got did say you can adjust the trim pot inside for more or less dirt. I love mine its my new always on pedal.

Slight change; added a Proton to the mix.

This board will stay as is for at least another week, just long enough to finish a current project.
Then things will change, oh yes, things will change...

It's great! I find the tone knob particularly useful, it can go from a smooth-ish sort of fuzz to a very grindy fuzz. Overall I'd say its a very natural/analog sounding fuzz, quite different from the synth-style fuzz you can get from the IE oxide/SA MWBDP.
