Still a bit of a mess but finally everything is up and running. There is a GigRig generator powering everything underneath the Distributor/Isolator/12V adapter.

That is a nice collection of effects there!

I know you weren't asking me, but I have both and IMO they're both worth keeping for their differences. BOD tracks way better, but doesn't have the synthy "grind" of the OC-2. I don't know if it's in my head, but I think the BOD produces a lot more low end (without the mid switch on).

winterburn69 summed it up pretty well. I prefer the sound of OC-2, but prefer the tracking of BOD. In a live situation, I don't think you'd be able to tell one from the other. The mid-boost button of the BOD is pretty cool as well.

Right on. I figured there could be worse things than having two octave pedals. Thanks, guys.

I've been snowed in for the past 2 days, perfect for music jammage! Here are the 2 boards I have been playing with 1 is a synth/noise making board, the other is my bass board! (I took closer pictures of that guy)

The space in the corner is reserved for a Beat Buddy. I'm not sure if it's big enough.

@Adamixoye
You, including some other guys on this page are just crazy. I mean... two eventides, two drives from Empress, Droptune, SuperSynth...
AND A Line6 M6!!! I didn't know that existed! :D

What kind of sound do you play with this? Obviously not punk :p

Ha...total typo, obviously. Edited.

I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that the board is largely to amuse myself. Again, it's a guitar/bass combo board, that's why so many are good on both. The biggest exceptions are the Morpheus which I never use on bass and the synths and B7K, which aren't really for guitar. The stuff I play at home is a lot of rock/metal that veers into electronica/prog/experimental. I don't know if these are the best examples, but three bands I really like are Chevelle, Muse, and Linkin Park.

The further embarrassing part is that live I really only play at church. My board is overkill for that (something people occasionally point out, indirectly or otherwise) but again I play both. I actually have used most of these pedals at church, everything except the Heavy (partly because it's too new, it hasn't been on my board yet), the TL-2 (which will probably go now that I have the Heavy), and the Digitech and Behringer synths (I HAVE used the Markbass in church).

The M87 and B7K are always on for bass, although I will very rarely kick on something from one of the Eventides or Line6 (for intros---and yes, I've done a couple of bass intros at church---I've used ambient repeating type stuff and/or some modulation). At my old church, there was one song where I used the Supersynth regularly (for that song) for a massive fuzz-organ sound (it was a little over the top, but I think it fit), and I also used it once for a funky song that we played as people were leaving (not during service).

The Multidrive is my primary guitar dirt for church, and I switch between clean and the two channels (for church, it's just OD and distortion, at home I mix the fuzz with the OD). I frequently use the Line6 for some delay and the Modfactor for some chorus. I have also used the Pitchfactor for some weirder ambient sounds and the Pitchfactor and Droptune for last minute key changes or songs where I want to play in a certain voicing/fingering.

TL;DR yeah it's overkill but I have used 8/12 (and 5 or 6 regularly) at church between guitar and bass.

How does the drop tune compare to the pitch shifter on the m5? I use my m5 as a drop tuner and love it. I'm curious as to what others think.

In terms of latency and polyphonic capabilities the Droptune is, IMO, hands down the best pitchshifter out there...for dirty guitar (dirt after the Droptune). For clean sounds you get some tone suck. It's somewhat acceptable for a half-step or two, but gets worse the more you drop it. For that reason I don't use it on bass. I think the low-latency and polyphony is still there for bass, I just don't think it handles the tone adequately, even for small intervals. For dirty guitar (especially heavily distorted guitar), you don't notice.

The MXR M87 Bass Comp & Joyo Ultimate drive have landed!

I'm in the process of trying to dial in a good setting on the M87, so far I love the tone & function of the pedal, but as others have said...a little knob tweak can net some LARGE changes.

As far as the Joyo UD is concerned, I bought one based on JohnK's suggestion...I could NOT be happier with the $37 I spent...When I run this thing into my ODB-3, what comes out could only be described as a Delicious wall of hate...I love it...so angry :D.

However...I'm going to disassemble the UD tonight and sand blast the hell out of that ugly mofo when I get to work tomorrow...Just can't stomach the graphics...Then I'm going to throw some paint on it...Pics to follow sometime tomorrow. :p

Look at all that space. You could fit so much more on that mini.

Ha. I know. But I'm being good. Maybe a comp... No, mustn't, bad Scott.

How are you liking that Outlaw? IN the few demos i found it didn't seem to get very hairy....!?

Ha! It gets way hairy. It will approach fuzz easily. Even more with a little od push. Demos don't really do it justice, even though they are great. You've really gotta play it yourself in your rig to know what you think about it. It's very responsive to little things. If you're interested, there is one in the classifieds for relatively little coin.

Also, I like it a bunch. Sits very well in a band mix, and pushed, sounds raunchy.
